Buddhism doesn't allow violence, yet Shaolin monks train their apprentices in such a brutal way, so this isn't "amazing", but hypocritical and cruel!

As a teenager I was approached by a Karate expert . He knew I could box , however I declined . Got involved with the wrong crowd and perty much got sent to the big house . Now that I think about it , he was heaven sent and I declined. Stability and direction was the last thing I wanted . He past away just recently , he correspondent with me while I was incarcerated. Isnt there a difference between forcing something into someone (child in this case) instead of them, its like we wouldnt say anything because they wear tunics but isnt that a little bit of child abuse ?
