THE AMFE MULTIALERT - INTELLIGENT CONNECTION

Do you have a need for, or already own several of our automatic miniature fire extinguisher “AMFE”? Then secure the control unit for the AMFE called multialert®, specially developed by our sister company Meister Automation, now and enable device-integrated fire protection for control cabinets and electrical distribution boards.
Thanks to the innovative control unit, multialert®, several of our automatic mini fire extinguishing units can be installed, interconnected and released simultaneously. This offers you efficient and reliable protection over a wide area. In addition, the system can be supplemented with a smoke detector. Thus, as an option, multialert® also offers you optimal protection against smoke and carbon monoxide.
You can view the basic principle of the automatic mini fire extinguishing unit, AMFE, in our separate product video. In the following, we will deal exclusively with our newly developed extension, multialert®.
What is the minimum size of enclosure, for which the multialert® can be used?
Basically, the multialert® can be used to protect a volume of more than 2m3. The redundant system with thermo-glass ampule and sensor technology offers you a connection to any fire alarm system with the help of simple and intuitive operation.
But how exactly does the multialert® work?
In the event of a fire, there are two different scenarios:
Scenario 1 - A fire alarm is triggered via the smoke detector.
The smoke detector signals a fire in the control cabinet. The control system of the multialert® triggers the AMFEn via a control current by means of a predefined sequence. These then extinguish the fire independently.

Scenario 2 - The AMFE releases directly, thanks to thermodynamic reaction.
In this case, the thermo-glass ampule on an AMFE detects the heat of the fire and releases immediately. This also interrupts a contact, which sends a signal to the multialert® control unit, which then triggers the remaining AMFEn, so that the fire is extinguished simultaneously over the entire area.
