Reading Arthur's journal helps a lot with understanding his character btw. And terminal disease helped him a lot with understanding himself. If only he started thinking sooner. But that's what makes his story so compelling. He makes the same mistakes we all do. Arthur's like me fr (i'm saying it in a joke manner, but it's not without sense).

My best friend and me loved this game. We would chat about the cool stuff we did in the game, and each practice our best Arthur impressions. He's sadly passed away since, but this game always reminds me of him which is another reason why it'll always be one of my favourite games forever

Redemption" fundamentally means "to buy back." Red Dead "Redemption" is referring to John Marston's purchasing his life back with the lives of his former gang members. "Redemption" has colloquially come to signify a person making themselves good again by doing good things.

E.g. a character is said to have a Redemption Arc. And in that sense Arthur Morgan is engaging in his own Red Dead Redemption.

And frankly, it's a load of bullcrap. Arthur Morgan is evil.

You can't become good by doing good.
You do good because you are good. You are good because God makes you good by giving you faith in Jesus Christ. Righteousness comes by faith, not works. And then the good things you do are the result of God working in you to will and to of His good pleasure.

I was playing today and went to aim at a deer and it targeted a woodpecker that I’m pretty sure was sitting on a tree lol I saved the clip and yeah I’m pretty sure it’s sitting there pecking wood so that’s awesome

dunkey forgot to mention the most important part about the game… the balls of the horses shrink when its cold outside

Arthur always be like it’s hard feeding people but I ain’t never fed em once as Arthur and they still good

I knew when donkey gave this game an 8 out of 10 it was because he wanted to appear more legit as a critic. This is a perfect game.

There’s more detail in red dead than any game I’ve ever seen. It’s amazing. 10\10 story even with guarma.

RDR2 is the real game of the year in 2018. God of War fanboys can stuff it, nothing wrong with GoW, it's just that RDR2 has it beat on all fronts, from story to execution to technical prowess, and everything in between.

I bought this game on release, played up until I found out Arthur was finna go and said fuck that and quit. Picked it up again this year and committed to a full startover and reaching the end just this week, was worth it
