Takeaways

New York, having the most sensible crowd, must be chuckling while Trump was speaking like a cheap salesman who lacks sensibility. His reasoning is illogical and he trash-talks like he’s in a UFC fight which can cost American lives if anything happens.

He wants to prevent world war by starting trade wars in this heat which calls “PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH”. He needs to do strength training first because the US is currently at China’s mercy of procuring parts and material which could contribute to a bullwhip effect if China “reciprocates” back to what he wants to do. He’s the dumbest politician ever and can never intimidate China with his strategy.

COGS from China, even with the tariffs, will still be less than that of the US made products without the shipping cost because their wages are lower. Even if Trump forces to manufacture here regardless, it will create an inflation like no other that even the interest cuts from levied tariffs on some Chinese products cannot compensate, so there won’t be a business case. Innovative manufacturing methods make profits, not tariffs. When was the last time American manufacturing was innovative? China is leaps and bounds ahead of the US when it comes to manufacturing methods which basically drives affordability and sales of their products to the whole world.

He wants to build US economy on “liquid gold” at the cost of climate change and environmental degradation while everyone else is trying to shift towards sustainability. Climate Central said the sea surface temperatures where Hurricane Milton developed were made up to 400-800 times more likely by climate change.
