Thank you!
ОтветитьHey Rey, do you still use the wristmax handle? Do you like it?
ОтветитьI have a workout schedule for Hammer curl, pronation curl, supination curl, bicep curl, wrist curl, wrist pronation and deadhangs. Which one should I do first or I can do with heavy weights (5 reps max)?
ОтветитьJESUS IS LORD!❤
Ответитьi don want to like the video, its 666 likes right now
ОтветитьWho makes that orange handle?
ОтветитьGod Dam you Ray Lipin!! I thought you had Devon's Hammer!
ОтветитьHere's a tip. Train the whole hand including all the fingers. Most people have a weak pinky and ring finger because when u workout, let's say hammer curls...u only need the thumb, index finger and middle finger to hold the weight. Most people forget about the pinky and ring finger which would give the hand soo much more grip power if all 5 fingers were engaged.
ОтветитьWhat about sidepressure
ОтветитьThis is why I'm losing to my friends easily while being much much stronger than them everywhere except for my fingers, never trained them before
ОтветитьYou always have the best teachings on armwrestling
ОтветитьWhat is the correct training for pronation and rising and should it be train static or dynamic???🗿🗿🗿
Ответитьin the right time thanks
ОтветитьHave you got a link to the handle that you use at 8.40?
ОтветитьThankyou for this channel! Love the way you explain everything!!
ОтветитьAfter seeing Eddie Hall's training, coach decided to school everyone.
ОтветитьPlease Ray help me. Ive searched for arm wrestling equipment and handles that I can take with me to the gym. I only find like Omega that is very pricy. I need just simple stuff for pronation, flexion with tension on fingers and rising. Any websites that doesnt run me dry?
ОтветитьThis style of video is great
ОтветитьThank you caoch!
Ответитьbro called me out as a climber, thats me 💯 😭💀
Ответитьman who makes that orange finger handle? looks really nice!
ОтветитьAnother great video
ОтветитьSo is wrist and wrist strength more important than arm strength?
ОтветитьIt is important to note though that depending on what style someone is good at personally, then a move that involves squeezing via the fingers can be extremely effective. The first people that come to mind for me is Travis Bagent & RVJ (RVJ seems to rely on crushing with the bottom 3 fingers, pinky-ring-etc.).
ОтветитьI love to grab I cant help it! But I think I'm on the right track for a bunch of this stuff according to the coach. Thanks Ray, technique is king for noobs like me! SSLA
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your knowledge Coach Ray 🤘 Best regards from Québec
ОтветитьWhat an excellent amount of information. Cleared up a lot of things I didn't even know or understand. Thank you
ОтветитьGreat man!!! It's always nice to see super technical content on your channel! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
ОтветитьSuper cool , where did you get that orange wedge handle ?? I want one too
ОтветитьI would argue that pinch strength does have its place in a training regimen, since you're using the muscles of the hand to keep the fingers static, not flexing the fingers, plus the thumb is trained which can cause growth and a thick thumb and thumb pad is useful for armwrestling. I wouldn't do exclusively pinch training, obviously, but a little bit here and there is definitely worthwhile. Sure, the wrist might not be straight or bent in, but the finger/hand position IS armwrestling position like with a flat handle.
ОтветитьTravis left the chat
ОтветитьMakes perfect sense
Thanks Coach
To put it in anatomical terms, in armwrestling: flexion of the MTP joint (metatarsophalangeal) is more important than flexion of the IP joints (interphalangeal).
In another “language”: keeping the base of the fingers at 90 degree angle to the palm is more important than moving the finger joints themselves.
I would argue there are certain unique styles of pulling that do use a more traditional squeezing movement of the hand, but the base that is built on is the same as what you are talking about. Without the finger-wrist connection it’s useless.
Thanks coach
ОтветитьGolden!
ОтветитьTy, one day id like to see full week training plan 🙏😃
ОтветитьJust the tip
- Coach Ray
The advantage grip athletes, strongmen, and rock climbers have is they don't have to focus on training their fingers. They can focus on just the wrist so it catches up to the fingers
ОтветитьRay, you should discuss the opposite wood block spinner that trains the extensors in the hand and forearm. Todd Hutchings does statics with those.
ОтветитьСалам БРАТИШКА
ОтветитьRay, when doing containment I get a lot of discomfort on the ulnar side of my wrist. Only happens on my right hand which leads me to believe I've hurt it at some point since it's usually my stronger hand. The joint feels very unstable when I get all the way out on my fingertips aswell - do you have any experience with this?
ОтветитьWhere can I find the red handle ?
Ответитьtoo early today🔥🔥
ОтветитьGreat advice
ОтветитьI love the Ultragrip handle. I had the previous version wristmax and i feel more on my wrist with ultragrip.
ОтветитьAwesome stuff!!!
ОтветитьArm wrestling is so complicated if you aren't strong.
If you are strong, its so simple. Just hook and side pressure.
Who would win in a toproll battle Auden or Jerry Cadorette?
ОтветитьGood exercise
