Great glass canning jars and my favorite postcards to collect are related to the holidays. I've got a few witch ones for Halloween, Easter ones, etc. Diana, I'd love to go "thrifting" with you! We don't seem to have the garage sales here and our thrift shops seem to price things very high. Jan in MA
ОтветитьHow do you find out so much about vintage and antique items? My husband and I love antique items for decor but never can find much on the items.
ОтветитьYou always are very knowledgeable. I appreciate it. Opening a booth or selling at a flea market is on my Bucket List but I just turned seventy so not sure if I can do it. We'll see. Thank you again.
ОтветитьDiana, I think the HA is Hazel Atlas not Anchor Hocking.
ОтветитьHope you take this comment kindly--the H over the A mark on the French's jar signifies it is Hazel Atlas and not Anchor Hocking. I always love seeing your vintage finds!
ОтветитьLoved this video!!! We just got back from a thrifting expedition at the Goodwill Bins in New Hampshire. We saw oodles of flower frogs, and sadly did not realize their value. Some other lucky soul gobbled them up.
ОтветитьOoooo - I love Laurel’s Kitchen!! I used it A LOT back in college, especially for bread baking. In my neck of the woods, mason-type jars are $4-5, you did great with yours! The postcards are especially wonderful, and at ten cents a piece, a real bargain. Love your videos, your finds, and your willingness to share your expertise, and insights. Hugs, Shauna xoxo
ОтветитьEver think of doing one on greeting cards?
ОтветитьAnother great video! Just FYI, Jewel Tea china pattern was Autumn Leaf, made by Hall.
ОтветитьI have some real leather vintage post cards. I believe they are from 1800’s.
ОтветитьLove the old children’s book.
ОтветитьEnjoyed the talk today since books and postcards are the stars of my booth. I keep about a thousand postcards organized by subject. Most of mine are considered scrap, but I mark them all $1.75 each. Sometimes a customer finds a treasure. I love books. I sell a lot of hymnals and reference books along with textbooks. A majority are pre-1960.
ОтветитьHi, do you have an email address for your channel? Would love to send you a message, thanks!
ОтветитьJust bought wade gingerbread complete family $26.41 .what do you think resale would be?
ОтветитьIsn’t that Hazel Atlas mark on the canning jar?
ОтветитьAlways enjoy your videos. I learn something new everytime.
