Sounds Liam is doing great. Sleep is also an issue with my autistic son. He also gets melatonin and a plant based herbal sleep drink. We also have a sleeptunnel that helps a lot. He is a caterpillar in bed. We have a weighted blanked some years ago this wasn’t working. We might try it in the future. Good luck with your sleep😴

Her children are getting good support, but what about the mum and dad who supports them? You can feel mums pain in every word she says about her children, she hides it well and throws herself into all the treatments the children need. But I see her pain. Poor woman.

My daughter got diagnosed today with autism been stalking my phone for the official report to come in so I can read the hell out of it. My daughter is 3 years old and she is completely non verbal. I have 2 questions: do you have a solution for biting? My daughter bites her little brother and I so much! And also, does your son ever get out of your house?!? And how do you prevent that?!? .. Thank you so so so so much!

You are so knowledgeable about Autism! My great nephew is 2.5 years old & we are having a hard time just getting him diagnosed although they have him in speech twice a week & just started occupational therapy. He doesn't speak much but he is counting his numbers from 1-10 frontwards & backwards! He has said about 4 words but always seems to forget them. I am more like his grandma since my sister passed 5 years ago & I keep him 3 days/2 nights a week while his mom works 12 hour shifts & since I live about 30 minutes away & transportation is not dependable atm. I talk to him ALL day but I really don't know what I SHOULD be doing since I've never dealt with Autism before. Which is another reason I wish they could diagnose him, so we can learn what we should be doing for him. He reminds me sooo much of Liam. They even have the same curly hair lol. Love my boy so much there isn't anything I wouldn't do for him which is how I came across your videos & they help me so ty for that!

My son is diagnosed 3 y o non verbal autistic, and says nothing. Makes tons of noises and laughs. Trying to learn signing. Your son is just like mine! Wow!!!! Mine gets his own cup from the fridge and has trouble closing the door, but we are working on it! My son has Pica. My son doesn't count or anything. Also he has insomnia 😒. Mine is not potty training, nor does he show ANY SIGNS OF BEING CLOSE. Mine doesn't point or anything. It's like holding a mirror in front of my son! There is someone like him.

Love the updates. My son is six and hes autistic as well and doesnt do half of the three year old milestones. Hes very similar to liam as development. He has pika(craves non edible things) so your updates really help me feel better n know im not alone. Your a great mama n you have a beautiful family. I get judged by family because he is 6 and still not potty trained. We r trying but hes a stubborn little man lol

If he likes food or even candy you might be able to figure out if he understands the concept of 2. That's how I introduced the concept of quantity to my son. He may understand the concept of 2 even if he doesn't understand the words you're using given he's killing it with puzzles. I suspect he probably does. Use his device to ask him if he wants one or two of whatever and then get stuff you know he wants more than one of to see what he does.

My daughter was completely nonverbal at 3. She is turning 4 on Saturday and she just reached the bottom of the "typical" range verbally! You never know what will happen. She has shocked all of her therapists and people helping her with her amazing progress.

Liam is so freaking adorable and he reminds me so much of my kid. You're such a great momma

I hope Liam's appts. in Feb. & March go well. Do you think Penelope will like a twin size bed better than a toddler bed? I guess Lia'ms bed seems really cool to her. Hopefully the twin bed will work for Penelope. Maybe some kids transition much sooner to a twin size bed. :) Wow, to think soon she will no longer be 1-year-old.

Liam sounds a lot like my niece but she's a bit more verbal. She can identify a lot of objects and say some phrases but can't really have a conversation. Her receptive language is also super poor, she doesn't understand the simplest of instruction. Still no dx because her parents are in major denial but she's in speech and ot.
