i never played it on PSVR and I loved RM2 on PSVR2 so I'm really looking forward to this.

Too bad this didn't come out before part 2. I don't know if I want to go and play a more limited version even though I enjoyed that one.

I really like your reviews. Enthusiastic, always fair, detailed, straight to the point. If a game is great but something sucks you state it clearly without too many words.

Now I know this is a vr channel, but if you'd start to review flat games I would gladly watch your take on those as well. Just saying.

Yeah, this is another treat for me as I just didn't get around to playing more than half an hour of Red Matter. w00t! And this is before getting into RM2 (which I haven't gotten yet).

I'm so dumb. The first time I played this it took me months to get to the rock statue puzzle and get stuck on it. Then yesterday I replay it and beat the game like in 3 hrs. Lol. Wtf

In a world where I'm drowning in backlog, I'm definitely putting '3-5 hours' in the + column :D

I've neglected my PSVR2 for a few weeks now, would you guys recommend this or No Mans Sky to get back on the VR train

I must admit , while I loved Red Matter 2 for all its technical achievements and how stunning it looked, I missed the puzzle element and mystery of the first one, looking forward to revisiting the game

I'm still fairly new to VR.
I have only played Red Matter 2, so I'm disappointed there isn't any action in this one.

I love how the player's tools look like the controllers. Really enjoyed RM2 so I'll check this out sometime.

Great review Bryan. I'm one of the lucky ones that is pretty much playing this for the first time. I played it for about 30 minutes on PSVR and then PSVR2 came out and my PSVR got packed away. I played tonight for about 90 minutes and I'm looking forward to finishing it this weekend.

I already bought Red Matter 2 but haven't had the chance to play it yet. Had no idea Red Matter 1 was coming so I'm in luck! Will purchase and play this one before diving into RM2

Red Matter 1 is awesome, one of my favourite games of PSVR1. If you have the remotest interest in an adventure game in VR then you owe it to yourself to check it out.

What matters most? Red Matter :) and 19,99 is a super fair price. Top Quality VR-Gaming and you dont have to fold your hands every night the devs might patch their game somewhere in the future. Simply runs and looks awesome!...and you can find photos of polish paul (portrays stas, i am damn sure it must be him) in the lockers.

I missed out on Red Matter on PSVR 1 and thus have been holding out on playing Red Matter 2, till I get to play the first one.

I played it back in the day and it was probably like a 7/10 for me but as a free upgrade I'm eager to play it again with the sweet graphical upgrade

red matter 1 for me, is not installing its trophy list, giving my whole machine a sync error! is anyone else having this error?

I never played Red Matter 1. Halfway through Red Matter 2 - which I love.

I played it on PS4/PSVR. To call it an escape room does it a disservice. It's the best thing I've played some Obduction

Look, be honest. 'Red Matter 1' didn't look anything like what's shown here on the PSVR1 - the screen door effect was horrendous on the PSVR1. I would rather see a true representation of the difference between 'Red Matter 2' on the PSVR2 vs The Meta Quest 3 as I played 'Red Matter 2' on the meta Quest 2 and liked it a lot, but I don't know which is better to get now, the PSVR2 or the Meta Quest 3 ...

how does the escape room puzzles compare to The Room VR: A Dark Matter?

Super excited to finally try out this series. Been holding off on 2 for port of the 1st one

I'm amazed at how many "Top 10" lists of PSVR2 games online don't include Red Matter 2. Phenomenal atmosphere, visuals, puzzles, etc.. I've never found myself exclaiming about the textures of surfaces, lighting, or other "little" details as much as I have this game. My friend even says it's the closest thing to Half-Life: Alyx that he's seen; that's one heckuva compliment for a totle that seems to be slipping beneath most people's radar.

Your reviews are definitely not worse. Overall I think your presentation is way better and that goes a long way.

So should I play 1 before 2 or are they stand-alone?

I played the PS4 version back in July because I wanted to play the sequel and was uncertain if I should wait for the possible remaster, as it wasn't 100% confirmed at the time. Looks like I should have waited, but either way, I'll be excited to jump back into this again at a much higher fidelity. Nice review!

I wish they would release a demo, I just want to see what 4K 120 is like in the headset.
