Hello, if we dont want to change our money in AirPort to take a transportation card, I think we can buy with our credit card in bus 337 and go to centre and buying sim card in center is cheaper, right?

at where 337 stop in freedom square from airport? Whats the name of the bus stop? Is it safe in freedom square, metro stations, tourist landmarks to toursit? you might be attacked by this gypsies and nothing you can do because police cant control or just merely ignoring you? its hard to be helpless in other countries you presumed safe?

Very informative and "clean" explanation. I am looking forward to visiting Tbilisi. Two questions though:
- I can't find the correct pronunciation of the city anywhere. "Tbilisi", or "Tbilishi"? I assume that your pronunciation is correct, because you are a host and a local guide.

- is there any meaning in the name of the city?
- the orange bank is used to buy a public transport card, and what is the blue bank for?
- how easy or difficult is it to communicate with the citizens of Tbilisi in English? Is it easier or harder than in Russian?

EDIT: What a "colorful" week in Tbilisi! Car drivers extremely arrogant and reckless. They drive as if someone is chasing them all the time and "step over" almost everything in front of them. A large number of ruined properties in the old part of the city.
The people cats and dogs are very friendly, the food is excellent, the Sakartvelo language and Mkhedruli script are interesting and unusual to say the least, public transport is extremely reliable. Lots of cultural monuments and similar contents.

Sometimes you might have to wait little in front of Departure gate, because bus is not always readily available.
Have patience ,soon another bus will be there and you can avoid unnecessary taxi.

You can actually use any bank card in the public transport. It will charge you standard rate of 1 gel per ride. But hey, don’t tell this to guide Teona, let’s keep it secret 😂
