Great documentary. While they celebrate Diwali in Germany, here in India, I celebrate Christmas at Goethe Zentrum singing Christmas songs and drinking gluten wine.

My sister also dreams to settle in Germany. She is a doctor here in India and has the same salary from ages. She also wanted to study medicine in hiedelberg university but couldn't do so because my parents did not want her to. The people from germany in comment section seems so nice and it gives me a sense of relief that she chose the right country.

Funny enough they don't throw tantrums or cause violence like they do back in india over the beef eating culture. It just explains the immigrating population is educated and smart with respect/tolerance towards others, sad these people are moving out of their country and we are left with radical brain dead ones.

The acts of these brain dead radical ones cause immense racism towards Indians which is common in western world

Germany is in a competition with the rest of the wold for highly skilled people .low wages and an bureaucratic system governed by officials makes Germany not attractive.I my self been an immigrant in Australia.I have plenty of Indian colleges and there are wonderful people .No one of them would even spending a thought to live in Germany .English is main conversation and to learn German not easy . To end up in a kitchen is not a dream .By the way ,the income in Australia is twice then in Germany by having a public health system and public pension . Stop Dreaming .Good Luck

One thing no one talks about here is if you are an Indian bachelor it's tough to find a date or love partner. Indian men are highly stereotyped in the dating scene and are always in the lowest hierarchy of preference by women here. If finding someone for life is more important than having a career abroad then I would say you'll have a tough time here. I have asked lots of my Indian friends and acquaintances here and everyone has the same opinion. I am not saying Indians don't find love here but if you see the statistics it's very low compared to other ethnicities and most probably you'll have a lonely love life here.

Indians immigrants are peaceful to locals because they want to fit in. Imagine if they become a majority in Germany, because Germans are dying and not having children, then they will do the same to minority what they do back home.

I am an Indian Hindu 🕉 , currently 17 and I love German culture and German people. I am currently learning Deutsch (German) because I want to do my Bachelors from Deutschland 🇩🇪 as the tuition fees in Public universities is 0 and the quality of education is very high. Although I would love to study in an English taught program but those are very limited for Bachelors degree in Deutschland but I won't mind a German taught either. German is a beautiful language and I would love to integrate and assimilate with the German society and I have heard that Germans aren't racist people at all so I hope everything goes well. Begrüßungen aus 🇮🇳❤️❤️

The reason the immigration experience of Indians in Germany is less problematic, is that it is highly selectively tailored to engineers, doctors, and highly educated individuals. This strategy is superior to mass refugee importation from war zones such as Syria or Ukraine.

I liked the positive outlook about the community in this video. Although I wish it didn't show the hindu religion== indian culture. Any country's culture goes beyond the religious practices and celebrations. And it should be depicted like that in these kind of videos.

Also, I hope indian men also learn the concept of equality from German/european culture. It was hard to watch the part of the video where all women are in the kitchen and men are just talking about things in the living room. The world (including lot of people in India) has gone beyond those patriarchal practices so let's not show them as part of this kind of videos. :)

Sanathan dharm says there is only god called brahma(ohm or spiritual+physical energy). That bhrama come to the earth to protect dharm in different forms. Whatever gods we worship they are all form of that bhrahma. Brahma=krishna or shiva or shakti. Santhan dharm says do your work without malicious thoughts and follow dharm and help this world, so that you can become god and can merge with brahma, this phenomenon is called MOKSHAM. You can get MOKSHAM by following any one of the four paths which mentioned in BHAGAVAD GEETA

DW should make a documentary about Indians living and immigrating in Bangladesh. Approximately 3.5 million Indians work in Dhaka, Chittagong, and many other cities in Bangladesh. This is the largest Indian migration in any other part of the world. Ten thousand Indians is nothing compared to the recent migration of Indians to Bangladesh.

If Indian people want to make Berlin there home, they should leave their Hindu Cast system in there home country. Every body is welcome in Germany but not there backward and antidemocratic castsytem culture which tells that only the people from greater cast have more rights than anyone from lower cast. In Germany we called this Rassismus
