Any tips for a slice backhand? Does the ball height help determine whether a slice or normal one-handed backhand is best? Thanks for creating such clear and concise instructions!

Thanks, Simon. Could you please clarify which bevel the heel pad of your palm sits on as well? I think it makes a difference and it’s been a struggle for me for a long time.

Simon, all excellent points in terms of what a national, international player achieves when they hit theor one hamded backhand. Are there any tips that would help a beginner, intermediate, advanced or slightly higher to achieve these aspects. Especially, how ro hit in front? I dont believe a player intemds to hit a little late but it is that none of these yiutune videos explain how to hit futher in front, in terms of what acrually helps a player like yourself, hit further in front. Ive actually hit with you and played points against against you but this video fails to explain the core teaching aspects that helps a beginner, intermediate or advanced player actually develop

You nailed how to teach a one handed backhand. This is the best video i have seen on this topic. Do you know who I believe founded the modern one handed bbackhand technique? I believe it to be Eliot Teltscher. Thank you for the awesome content!

Simon are you using 1 or 2 handed your matches?

I don't see many coaches talking about one handed BH being BETTER than 2 handed. I particularly think one handed is better unless you learned 2 handed since childhood
