Well, the two screws on the black bit where the fan is came pre-stripped apparently... so now i need to deal with that some how.

So mine decided to finally stop working in the sense that it turns on for a second and then immedietly switches off again. Some other videos suggest that it's the hard drive. If it is I'll be lucky as the memory on the hard drive was good for only 4 or 5 games and all my other games are on an external hard drive. The fan is dirty too, so I'll have an opportunity to clean that too. I haven't disassebled it completely yet as my mom is concerned I'll break it and someone more professional is going to come over to have a look. So far I've come to the point where I unscrewed the wifi board.

Just wrap a lil electric tape tight around tip of flathead screwdriver so it won't scratch the Xbox one..

Thk dude I was about to chuck the xbox away , I pulled it apart and there was a blanket of dust, after some cleaning no more over heating and good as new .cheers bigears

What would cause this issue? I cleaned out the Xbox and put everything back together. It turns on. But I’m not getting any display? This wasn’t an issue prior to cleaning.
