About twenty years after F. Scott Fitzgerald published The Great Gatsby, paramount released an adaptation in 1949. Starring Alan Ladd and Betty Field, the 1920s costumes were designed by Edith Head. This video covers mainly Daisy Buchanan’s wardrobe, as well as some of the supporting female characters.
