A boiling pot of water doesnt take that long to fully evaporate. Idk if it had a lid, or how that’d affect the rate. But if just an uncovered pot of water…that doesnt take very long to boil down fully. I once had lemongrass boiling in a pot full of water & like an hour later, the lemongrass was scorched on the bottom of the pot with no water left in it. Sounds like someone came across Stephanie & attacked her. They may have unintentionally stumbled upon the cabin hoping to crash there or just out of curiosity. So awful. They were probably still close by & maybe even saw the person checking on her. shudders They may have even been the one to set the pot of boiling water to give them enough time to get away from the area & burn any evidence. Wonder if they checked for fingerprints, car tracks, touch DNA etc.

*Yep.

Unlicensed park rangers and serial killers do this all the time. Big vultures can take a 3 year old boy. Seen it happen. And bears and mountain lions. A wolf can take you under and a beaver will build a dam around you very quick. The lights belong to ufo's who use the stairs in the woods. Never use those stairs! They also take people. Notice how the stairs always lead up, never down!? Then you have the bigfoot and the dogman. They don't like people telling on them, so they take people also and put them up high on mountains where they freeze to death. After having turned their pants inside out. Thats like their modus operandi. Black helicopters take people if people have gone through portals. Soooo... there's that too.

Best thing is to stay away from national parks. Just not worth the hassle.

I was out with my dogs in an old mining area and an unfenced railroad line nearby & came across a boy about 5 years old, lost or run away. I had no phone and no one was around, as an adult male I felt uneasy but no way was I going to leave the child on his own. After 30 mins a woman came along, she phoned the police, they came and I gave them my details. All finished good and moral is you’ve got to do the right thing.

Every adult that was around Jared the day he disappeared absolutely failed him. The original group should have never let a 3 yr old run off into the woods by himself and the 2 fishing guys should've made sure he got back safe to group he was with safely but I guess fishing was more important.

If you go hiking, please bring a 50 foot roll of cord or something similar, even kite string would work, that you can tie to a tree and unroll as you walk off trail. That way even if you lose sight of the trail you can't get turned around and lost. I feel so bad that Geraldine suffered alone for so long, especially being sooo close to the trail. At least her family finally got answers.

If you go off trail, look to see where the sun is compared to the time of day it is. That will give you direction of where the trail is. Head in the opposite direction when you want to go back to the trail. I grew up in the middle of nowhere in the woods. We wood ride horses all day, get lost, but know that the woods were north of our home and the sun set in the west. We always made it home.

Folks, if you ever find a little child on their own, ask them where their parents are. If they don’t know, call the police.
If you’re worried, particularly because you are a man, how it might look, think how bad it’ll look if the child winds up missing

Reminds me of the time that we accidentally found a missing toddler.
I was working as a paramedic and we were sitting in our ambulance after returning from the hospital doing some paperwork. We looked up to see two teenage boys crossing the road and a little boy running after them, busy road not safe. I got out of the ambulance and told the boys they should look after their little brother better. They said they didn’t know him, he just started following them. (didn’t understand why they didn’t feel protective of him enough to make sure he didn’t get hit by cars… teenagers). I squatted down and asked him if he was OK and where he was going. He didn’t know so I asked him if he’d like to come into the ambulance. He sat in the ambulance and we called in that we had found a random toddler. We ascertained that he was three, sort of, able to tell us his address but it was quite far away. After chatting for a little while he said he was staying “at grandmother’s“..
The police arrived and we gave them all the information he had given us. There was a woman with that surname about three blocks away but she wasn’t picking up her phone. So the police and us, following in our ambulance, went to her house and knocked on the door. It was his grandmother! She didn’t even know he was missing. She’d put him down for a nap in her bedroom he had walked out of the sliding door, around the house and vanished. When she realised the enormity of what had happened, she burst into tears and embrace the little boy and he stroked her head saying “don’t cry Gran gran”.
It was a blessing that he happened to run across the street when we happen to be sitting in the ambulance and looking up. Eventually, the teenage boys he had been following would have probably lost him and it’s hard to know where he would’ve ended up. I’d like to think that someone else would’ve done the same thing very soon. But, we had the benefit of being medical professionals and wearing uniforms and, therefore not being afraid of how it would look when we took him into our ambulance to protect him. The little one’s guardian angel was working hard

Okay so I just watched the first one and I have two ideas and I'm sure somebody else has brought this up before me but I'm not searching through every single one of these to check. Pat, in the first video either those two fishermen took the kid. Because nobody would ever leave a child alone like that regardless of how close The group was that's absolutely insane. Ore and hear me out here. What kind of group of 11 people would ever let a child get that far ahead of them? That's absolutely insane as well. Like the way Mike explains it in the video. Yeah it sounds like it might make a little sense but that's just the idea of how I was put nicely. Like in reality, these people very well could have just made up a story about letting that happen. What if this was no Christian group at all? What if this was some kind of occult group or religion that needed a child to sacrifice and needed an excuse to lose One of their children. I personally don't think it's too far-fetched.

They were two miles away. It would have been a small detour to drop Jared off beforehand. And be that as it may, there's no "corner" in the woods. If he's far enough away to be out of sight around a bend, he's gotta be an Olympic sized swimming pool away or further! That's far enough that you'd be running over to him! One twentieth of a kilometre!! Fishermen means WATER!!! I'd have been mad with rage! The fishermen just wander off and leave him by himself near a body of water, that's outright belligerent neglect of commonsense.

That little boy was taken kicking and screaming by a mountain lion.
This community is full of incompetent adults, including law enforcement and the adults whom lied to this little boy’s father on where they were taking him.

A toddlers skeleton is vastly different from an adults that is mostly cartilage and unfused bones.

It’s absolutely plausible that when the toddler went deeper into the woods thinking that’s where the adult voices were coming from, that a cougar approached him, he screamed about seeing a big kitty and was deemed prey to be taken higher up into the cat’s territory where it would be undisturbed.

The pants may have been inside out simply from the cat thrashing at the victim to get to the meat…the largest muscles in a human are the glutes and quads aka: the bottom half of people.

As for the shoes not being weathered, well an autumn dew or rain followed by a swift winter will keep them frozen and preserved.

A medical examiner is an expert in autopsy and recent human death. A forensic anthropologist was never brought in to examine the aged scene and a forensic zoologist was never consulted on the local predators.
