How to Paint over Mould & Mildew

zinserr bin is a fantastic product but its not for mould, you need a mould specialist paint

You can paint over it.. but if you don't want toxins in your house, remove everything within 3 ft diameter! Your choice.. cover it up and possibly get very ill, or your tenants get very ill/lawsuit waiting to happen! Or go through the correct remediation process!

Why didn't you use the Zinsser Mold Killing Primer instead of the Zinsser BIN?

Hi Charlie... I can only afford to buy something once to fix the mould in my bedroom that covers the whole wall- it's bad. I'm on a fixed income. Does this really work- or will I have to have to pull the gyprock walls out? This is highly disturbing. You should never paint over moldy drywall. It needs to be cut out and replaced.

I don't think that those masks will protect you against gases from the cleaners. They are particulate filters. I think you would need carbon filters to deal with gases.

So you pretty much just remove mold and paint over it lol

I have tried everything. The easiest way is using 50/50 water and bleach and put it in a small tray and use 5 in painting brush and apply bleach just as if you're painting on the mold and they will magically disapear. Sometimes you dont even need to repaint it because the mold just cleared up.

Once you paint the wall with B I N do I need to re paint it with zinsser mould resistant paint?
