I dislike how the most common complaint about demon slayer is how simple it is. Not every show has to reinvent the wheel, and even so, there's a lot more to DS than people give it credit for. Like when Tengen was dying, saw Rengoku and told him he didn't think he could win like he could have against Gyutaro. Rengoku told him that he couldn't be like he was either, then we get to the fight. Tengen stopped his heart to focus his musical score technique, he didn't set his heart ablaze and charge him with the last of his strength like Rengoku did against Akaza. The show lives on simple plot points like that but it is by no means worse because of it
