My name is Rafaela and there is a very good reason for that. In 2006 my parents where coming from Albania for celebrating their marriage, because they're both Albanian but we used to live in Greece. So, on the way back, they had a terrible accident, where my uncle died and i didn't get to know him. My grandpa had a brain injury but lived by a miracle, my father was just shocked and had pieces of glass all over him, my mother tho, she was the most injured. She spent 20 days on a coma only to wake up with the fear of never waking again. Not just walking, she couldn't move anything but her eyes. Of course the least they expected from her was that she would have 2 children, yet she did. She went on a surgery and could walk again, but still the chances for a baby were very low. So when mom found out that she was pregnant with me, she went to a friend of hers who happened to be a priestess, and she gave my mom a picture of Saint Rafael and told her to pray to him every day and night, and mom did. She not only prayed but also made a promise that if i were to be born a healthy baby she would name me after him, if i was a boy my name would be Rafael, but I'm a girl, hence my name's Rafaela. She still calls me Rafael tho (she wanted a boy, but still favoritizes me more than my brother😂) ...
