Reviewing the Brooks Glycerin Max Shoe (Watch before you Buy)

I just sent mine back... I'm a slim runner, 6'3 and 153 lbs. with slender feet, so it was too much shoe for me but they were really comfortable!

188 lb guy, definitely understand the sentiment of wanting to run in a pair of max stack trainers, they are heavenly if you are a heavier runner (180+)
The shoe is a bit narrow, had to go half a size up, its performance is incredible. Thrown down some great tempo runs in it and never felt any type of way about them even though they are better for slower paces.
Legs feel great after runs, hoping they break in well so I can get less rubbing on the inner part of my feet.

I am heavier, and I absolutely love these shoes. They are very comfortable. Between yesterday and today, I walked 19k steps, and my feet feel great. I do not feel tired at all. If you are a heavier person, this shoe is for you.

Massively gigantic cruise ships on your feet. I’ll keep them. 😅

I‘m a smaller female runner with narrow feet, and my feet were swimming in this shoe. Got the ASICS Glideride instead and they are perfect for my long and easy day runs.

I agree with the walking issue. The foam is too soft. It doesn't feel right for 1 to 2 hours walk. Better to get a hoka skyward x for walking which has a firmer foam.

Try the New Balance More V5, same high stack cushion but cheaper

Have these, they are nice but not as soft and responsive as the Nike zoomx foam

Try the Saucony endorphin speed 4 !

240 lbs, 6'4. I actually just got these and took them out on a 3 Mile yesterday. I agree with a lot of your sentiments. I would say this is a great zone 2 day shoe, where you just want to cruise at a lower speed for an hour and have a chill run. Not the shoe I would wear for tempo runs or races. That being said, it excels as a chill recovery long run shoe!
