bro single handedly ansurd all the accustions abt mary im my faith
ОтветитьThank you for explaining this! We love our blessed Mother Mary! 🙏❤️
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. I hope and pray many people see this and finally understand how we Catholics see our Blessed Mother.
ОтветитьIntersection! What Apostle pointed you to Mary? Told you to seek her, pray to her? Told you she was the mother of God, the new ark, the queen of heaven? Told you she remained a Virgin her whole life, was sinless, co-redeemer with Jesus?
At the wedding when Mary asked Jesus, He, God, said, "No"! Did Mary accept God's declining her? No! She created a scene, involved others, left Jesus with no choice but to perform for her. That is not being obedient to God.
Revelation 12, the woman is pregnant and in heaven 2,000 years before Jesus was born. In verse 9 Satan is cast down so she was pregnant and in heaven before Satan was cast down. We know from Luke when she became pregnant and we know she spent the first 3 months at Elizabeth's house. After that she returned home, so somewhere over the next 6 months was Mary pulled up to heaven and transported back in time?
In verse 14 the woman was given giant eagle wings to fly like a superhero. Why are we not told that Mary had wings? In verse 17 the dragon went off to make war with her other children who believed in Jesus and kept the commandments. But we know from John 7:5 that His brothers didn't believe in Him.
The Apostle John, caretaker of Mary after the cross never saw anything special about her to write about, he never mentioned her name
Paul wrote almost half of the New Testament and never mentioned her name
Peter ignored her existence in his writings. Never said she was the mother of God, the new ark, the queen of heaven. Never said she remained a virgin her whole life, was sinless, co-redeemer with Jesus. He never said a single Hail Mary.
Non-catholics have for a 2nd Commandment, you shall have no graven images. Catholics love graven images. I've seen plenty of videos where Priests and others bow before her statue or picture.
It's so important that you pray solely to God that the Holy Spirit intercedes for you. Why reject the Holy Spirit and try to do an end around.
We are to confess our sins, one to another, and pray for each other. What sins does Mary confess to you? When we share our sins, our temptations we are creating a support group of like minded believers. This helps us to overcome the sins we are having trouble with.
Mary, like John the Baptist are prophecy fulfilled. Luke is recording the fulfilling of prophecy, he isn't telling us to seek Mary. Jesus even said John the Baptist was greater than Mary.
This is an awesome video highlighting the Catholics views on Mary. Truth rooted in scripture, nice touch.
Ответить1. They believe she was a perpetual virgin.
2. They believe she was taken bodily unto heaven.
3. They believe she's the queen of heaven.
4. They believe she had a part in our salvation.
5. They kneel and pray before her statues.
She is not the woman mentioned inn Revelation.
None of these beliefs are Biblical.
Look. God created an order of things. Of all people he would create, of course his MOTHER would be important. She birthed him, she raised him, she did all of the motherly things and continued most assuredly to be close to him....UNTIL DEATH! Why do people think that respecting and honoring her place in Jesus's life equate to worshipping her? As far as im aware, the original reformers even believed in her perpetual virginity. That state alone....being a virgin throughout life, is outstandingly impressive. Think about that in this day and age. So if that is even MENTIONED, people shout BLASPHEMY or idolatry. That is ludicrous. You have been told its wrong and you dont even give your brain a chance to process that it might be just TRUTH. WHY Wouldnt GOD THE FATHER WANT to create her to be that perfect....of course she would have to be perfect! FULL OF GRACE...as the Bible says....not by nature (Godliness) but by God given virtue! Its common sense!
ОтветитьI have a friend who thought catholics worshipped Mary until I showed him this video and now he's going to be Catholic
ОтветитьYou are awesome! Thank you for this
Ответить"Mary lived with her eyes fixed on Christ, treasuring His every word: "She kept all these things, pondering them in her heart."-Pope John Paul II
ОтветитьLet's not forget Revelation 12. It's right there in black and white. She is clothed in the sun, standing on the moon and crowned with stars. She is also given the wings of an eagle and given special protection. The devil can't get her, so he goes after the "rest of her offspring - those who keep the word of God and hold fast to their testimony about Jesus.
Nary is declared the queen of heaven, the mother of god and our mother in one chapter of the Bible.
At the end of the day it’s all about Christ and there isn’t anything you need from anyone but God the father through Christ. All you need is Christ. The only image you need to be seeing when you pray isn’t a statue of Christ mother but vision through the Holy Spirit Christ Himself and all His glory.
I’m not saying she’s irrelevant, but it sounded a lot like idolizing. Mary definitely played a role and God fulfilled that role through her, but to display her as it is seen from an outside eye, it just seems extra and idolizing. All that matters is God and what He has done for us through Christ.
Not hating, I love all God children. Just putting my take on this topic. God Bless All ❤
All that matters is Christ! It’s not that hard. Ask God for wisdom to understand this. Ask Him for truth and He will guide you.
People need to get out of the church and get in the book to realize when you receive Christ and the Holy Spirit you become the church! Just get your noses in the God word and stay consistent in pray and He will provide.
Proverbs 3:5
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
God Bless Everyone ❤️
This explanation is so perfect
ОтветитьGreat video brother! 👍
ОтветитьHear me out on this. No human is omniscient and knows everything and can think in such ways as God does. Even Mary and her glorified state. I don't think she could understand and receive all the prayers that would be sent her way.
ОтветитьI'm Catholic. I love the Faith. Thank you for helping us spread the Word about Mary. I pray that you can make more videos like this explaining the millions of other things people believe about our Faith that are not true.
ОтветитьI have always said that in the 10 commandments we are told to honor our father and our mother. Well Mary is the mother of god I’m pretty sure that means that we should honor her. After all Jesus did.
ОтветитьThe woman in rev 12 is Israel not Mary
ОтветитьHey man! I’m a Catholic and don’t really understand if we believe she is sinless or not. If we do, why? Great video btw!
ОтветитьWell done in explaining the role of our blessed Virgin Mary.
ОтветитьFirst among created beings and beloved by her son because he honors his mother as his commandment demands because he was fully human.
To know Christ more intimately you can seek Mary. Alienating her distances you from Christ by obfuscating what we are meant to know about his nature.
We don't worship Mary, we worship "statues" of Mary.......I'm kidding. :)
ОтветитьJesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life no one comes to the Father except through me" Jesus the supposed founder of the Roman Catholic church said He was the only mediator and intercession to God not Mary who is a dead sinner, or dead saints or a priest. How do you explain this without running to the early church fathers or sacred traditions or the ecumenical councils of the magisterium or the pope none of which have authority over Jesus and the Holy Bible.
ОтветитьCatholics believe that...
In the video, a woman said that Catholics are not Christians. Is that true? Well, what is a Christian? A Christian is a person who believes in and acts on the teachings of Jesus Christ. As Jesus said: “If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples." (John 8:31)So, if Catholics are Christians, where in the Bible did Jesus teach that...
1. Mary can be worshiped? NOWHERE!
2. Mary is the mother of God? NOWHERE!
3. Mary can be prayed to? NOWHERE!.
4. Mary was immaculately conceived? NOWHERE!!
5. Mary is the new Ark of the Covenant? NOWHERE!
6. Mary is a co-redemptrix? NOWHERE!
7. Mary was assumed bodily into heaven? NOWHERE!
As we can see, none of the Catholic beliefs about Mary were ever taught by Jesus. Clearly, Catholics are not Christians.
Crystal clear and compelling. Thank you!
ОтветитьWas a little triggered when I saw the headline, so glad it didn't take the turn i thought it would 😂
ОтветитьQuestion, if you want to get closer to Jesus, wouldn’t it be more practical to go straight to Him Instead of thru Mary?
ОтветитьThe word "worship " in English has changed over the centuries. It never meant exclusively the honors, praises, reverence and adoration due to God alone.. Archaically the word was a title of respect to those who were "worthy" of it, like mayors and magistrates, who may be addressed as "Your Worship"... which is still true in many British commonwealth lands.. So in the older sense, Catholics give worship to her, because she merits it, but everyone understands it is a lesser form than that due God. As Saint Paul in Romans 13:7 said, "give honor to those to whom honor is due"
ОтветитьOur Blessed Mother is the only person that when praying to God can say Our Son.
Ответить“All generations” that includes me-
“Shall call me” address her with a title-
“Blessed” means blessed-
Blessed mother, you complete the body of Christ, as He perfects it. His will be done.
Catholics do not worship Mary, and anyone who makes that false claim is a liar or has made no attempt to learn the truth. Catholics give honor to Mary as the mother of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We ask her to intercede with her Son for us, who in turn intercedes for us with the Father. We honor Mary as the Queen of Heaven because our Savior was a Jew, and in ancient Israel, the queen was always the mother of the king. It's all that easy, and is fully biblical.
ОтветитьWow! Good work. I just hit subscribe here brother..
ОтветитьCatholic and Orthodox Christians venerate St. Mary.
ОтветитьSome type of religious nutter. This is the reason the world is like it is
ОтветитьThe first thing that needs to be noted is that the Catholic church defines "worship" in an idiosyncratic way, which does not line up with how almost everyone else on the planet defines it ... cross-culturally, over thousands of years. It's then common for Catholics to enter such conversations saying that they "don't worship Mary", as if they mean the same thing as what everyone else means.
This makes Catholics appear dishonest in some cases, as we can all see and hear them "worshipping" Mary according to common understanding of the word outside of idiosyncratic Catholic theology. This frustrates Catholics, as they - in their own hearts and minds- do not believe they are "worshipping".
So, you get Catholics asserting (for insatnce) that "Worship always entails sacrifice" . OK ... we get that in CATHOLIC theology that might be the view, but stating it as if it is a universal truth, of which non-Catholics are "ignorant" ... that's just not going to fly for any reasonably well-educated person.
Even if we accept this this teaching, all sorts of things are considered "sacrifices" or "sacrificial offerings" outside of idiosyncratic Catholic teachings. Many religions consider the simple placement of flowers upon an altar (or before a shrine) as a "sacrifice", as well as things like burning candles or incense. To the rest of the world, that's a sacrifice. Even in scripture, "praise" is considered a form of sacrifice when done as a part of religious devotion. So, this Catholic standard that "a sacrifice is needed .." seems to be a part of what we observe as "worshipping Mary".
There is much more to be said on this, but suffice to say that this kind of failure on the part of Catholics to acknowledge the idiosyncratic nature of Catholic teaching as such, and for non-Catholics to enter such discussions unaware ... lots of confusion and hard feeling are likely to ensue.
"Do whatever He tells you." So, why don't we. Holy Mary, we love you.
