"and discard that piece, into our mouth" Chef John, were kindred spirits. I mean really it's the only logical thing to do, is it not?
I'm so happy to find this recipe, I'll be making this soon for friends and family
guy, can you modulate your sing-songy delivery....?
ОтветитьI love this it brings back memories when I was so young to reach up and get a piece when no one was looking
ОтветитьSO EXCITED you have this recipe, Chef John - CAN'T WAIT to try it out !!! And you're using the wafer paper, OMG!!! My best childhood Christmas memories are associated with this Italian candy! T H A N K Y O U ! ! ! 💛 HAPPY HOLIDAYS!🎄
ОтветитьThis looks delicious and I can't wait to try it! Please make a Turkish Delight recipe😊
ОтветитьMy wife loves the slow and ancient technique. too. Which is why she married a man 40 years older than her.. I know she hates cold nuts. I will not mention anything else.
ОтветитьI love your style, chef John, as much as your recipes. I’m watching your videos from northwest England .
ОтветитьI gave up on sticky candy. Mine always resembled superglue and my teeth glued shut.
ОтветитьYou getting cancer HAHAHA
So premetiv stupid PEOPLE idijot
do not try this recipe my outcome was awful and many others stated the same
ОтветитьFor me it was a disaster.Very frustrating
ОтветитьThank you for the recipe for this beautiful Torrone. I made these while watching your video following step by step, they turned out amazing I am so happy with the results. It takes a bit of time but we’ll worth doing, I’ll never buy Torrone again. ❤️🙏😋
ОтветитьLove this guy❤
ОтветитьThe most annoying voice in food videos ... the valley girl of food video men BUT, once you get past the fast and furious squeaky talk - the recipes are excellent.
ОтветитьТУРРОН ТУРРОН ТУРРОН получен предмет туррон
ОтветитьI used to eat this when I was a kid
Totally remember how good it was!
The fact I’m eating this rn:
ОтветитьPlease suggest a substitute for egg whites
ОтветитьI do love me some torrone!!
ОтветитьHow long can we store them??
ОтветитьCandied Ajilenakh Nut in real life 👍>v<👍
ОтветитьDude can you learn how to intonate?
ОтветитьIt's funny that I made Torrone yesterday, and just by chance, or maybe my subconscious was working overtime, I stumbled upon this recipe. Chef John, your suggestions will make my next foray into Torrone much easier. Thankyou. I love Torrone...maybe just a little too much, but hey, life is short. ENJOY!!!!!
ОтветитьOMG, Fantastic!! (watching in 2023)
ОтветитьWhat a nightmare, I won't be trying this again. Had to chuck it all into the trash. Waste of time, money, ingredients. Hopefully I'll find a better recipe on another channel
Ответитьbeautiful sir thanks :-)
ОтветитьPakistani version is pretty good!
ОтветитьArrrrggghhh!! Attempt #1 - tastes ok, but I think I burnt it. That, or I put the orange zest in before the egg whites...... either way, it came out tan.
I ordered a new Kitchenaid Heavy Duty mixer, which I'll get next week, and then I'll try this recipe again!
(this is an expensive recipe to fail at! arrrrgghh!)
Too soft for me. I wonder if it could be made much more hard and chewy without being brittle. I’m going to have a go, one of these days. 😋
ОтветитьI love nougant .
Ответитьdisappointed... never whitened and never thickened and I needed to cook it at least 30 minutes longer than the time recommended...?
ОтветитьTürkçe altyazılı tarif lütfen 🙏🏻
ОтветитьAfter 4 years I'm finally giving this a try for Christmas
ОтветитьI agree with you…it’s always easier if you keep your nuts warm. 😂
ОтветитьIs there any remedy to make my Turron firm like candy😫 It came out chewy😭
ОтветитьThank you : )
Ответить💗💗💗
ОтветитьMy color didn’t change much after adding the egg whites. Should I start over?
ОтветитьThanks I love your narration and sense of humor. You make cooking fun. Great recipe
ОтветитьThanks for doing these less known recipes. I was so happy to see this - one of my favourite Christmas treats,
ОтветитьTorrone is my absolute favourite candy and when made right it is light. My question is, do you get a good result if you double or triple the recipe. This makes great sense to me because of the long stirring time required to make it properly, why not make the time and effort yield more candy……to share of course.
ОтветитьI've been making this for a few years for Christmas. Thank you so very much. It is absolutely delicious. ❤️
ОтветитьArrrhh! His speech inflection and diction is soon annoying!
ОтветитьOh thank you so much. I am already dreaming. I will make it for Christmas 🎄
ОтветитьWhat does the sugar do here? Is it possible to skip the sugar and use all honey? Or skip the honey and use all sugar?
I'm really tempted to experiment and do some kind of fusion with Turkish Delight. Make pink fruit leather first and cut into cubes, then stir that into the torrone instead of nuts, and flavour with rose water.
Or maybe use nothing but roasted sesame seeds.
Or... saffron.
Any experienced advice before I waste an entire weekend and a bunch of ingredients?
A "little" bit of sugar 😌
