Also, at the end of the vid the Burson (Soloist 3XP?) drives the 9.2 revision but does it simply get them loud enough or does it really get them rock all out? I have the Burson but need to know if I can get the most out of Tungsten with it. Working on simplifying my set up, I'd rather not having to add more electronics.

Thank you for showing them on your head! I try to buy headphones that I can use for all situations, including work Zoom meetings. So it's nice to have an idea of how ridiculous I will or will not look. 😂 Kudos to Modhouse on this success.

do they feel as heavy as an audeze on the head? for me all audezes are decently comfortable but I wouldnt buy one cause it gets tiring

Have you tried the Topping DX9 the new one with these tungstens? I would love to know if anyone has tried them I put my order in for these and have the dx9 and a70 already I just want to know how they sound on the dx9.. Id image if they are good on the a70 then the single sided ones should be just as good on my dx9?

Not to piss on your review but until we see a proper real review this has been all type. Unfortunately by that time Ryan will be overwhelmed with orders and the wait times with be obscenely long. And people in this hobby have no patience and something else flavour of the month headphone, dad, amp speaker will come along and these will be forgotten. Still a lot of $$# for us schmoes to give away for something without a proper review . That said I feel sorry for Ryan and his waiting list:(

Glad I got my order in on Friday morning (single-sided) - was sold out within 15 minutes. I will run them through a Burson Soloists 3x - max 8 watts BUT 28 Volts on high gain, balanced! Gustard A26 DAC.

Ifi zen can has pretty high voltage, but sadly I don't see it in your rack anymore

i have an ab1266 with a holo stack and yesterday i listend to my gf's magni unity with hd6xx and i laughed. Not because of some pompous superiority audiophile money slap in face reason but because i was releived that im in this for the music not the gear bc that sounded great and im considering selling some things now.

so hearing that these exist i may consider since they arent a fucking house payment and they sound great

Is there a reason why people don't talk about using the front headphone jacks on vintage receivers? I'm using a 45 w/channel Yamaha 2 channel receiver from the 90s and so far it's beat every other headphone source I've ever tried.

All good but they're the hardest headphone to drive so what's the point, a Susvara is easier to drive lol

Are the t60rp argon still worth the buy?

My pair is at the end of the viseo. These headphones are so good I almost don't even care about other headphones anymore. These aren't giant killer headphones, these are god slayer headphones.

Fuck... I thought I was done looking for "better" headphones after I got my LCD-X but...

Folks, this is 3 months old. There is a double magnet version that is easier to drive. Also, the MASS Kobo 465 exists that makes everything sound it's best. He just recorded that video and hoping it will be released to his Paetreon soon.
