Hi! I’ll be attending Marshall this fall. I’ll be majoring in applied math. Would you say it would be difficult to minor in cs for someone who has no background in it?

Just started first quarter here at UCSD ( Marine Bio). I’m finding that the quarter system is extremely fast paced and intense. I’ve studied at least 6 days a week since class started and for hours on end and just feel right on track not ahead 😑. I wish I had more time for networking and reaching out to labs for internships and lab opportunities!

How often did you study and for how long? I feel that I’m not studying too hard or too little either. Just enough to where I’m not cramming but fully understanding the material.
