I just went to purchase Givenchy Prisme libere foundation based on your review, but didn’t as I found that there is alcohol listed as an ingredient on Saks fifth avenue website. I just wanted to make you aware as you said it was alcohol free. I’m glad I caught this because not only is it bad for the skin, I’m actually allergic to it.

If you were to use a drugstore foundation on a bride with combo/oil skin, which foundation would you use?

Revlon Colorstay Oily/combo is just soooo good. Wears 12+ hours, controls oils, doesn’t cling to dry patches. It’s just stunning. If they ever discontinue it I’ll be devastated. I know it’s dramatic but my skin is finicky but it loves this foundation

$140 for LA MER foundation? Daylight robbery. For that price it's gotta give a whole new face.😑

Why isn’t nyx can’t stop won’t stop foundation for dry skin??

I've been using revlon colorstay for over 10 years at this point. Everytime I stray from it I come back. The only down side is I find it pore clogging big time on the cheeks.....

I love Laura Mercier. Did they discontinue some products? I use different foundations for fall/winter and summer. I have dry skin, but I do get oily & sweat in the summer. I don't like it when foundations oxidize easily. I like coverage and good, skin texture. MAC still makes good foundations. MAC studio fix & Mac Face & Body. I used to have the NYX BB cream, but they discontinued the product or formula. I use Smashbox Studio skin foundation. I like the IT Cosmetics CC cream sometimes when I want full coverage, but sometimes it causes skin tiny bumps. I haven't tried the Shiseido yet because no one helps me on the counter to try it on. I know Shiseido makes good products. I miss Becca Cosmetics. That was my go-to brand for about everything. I love their foundation and their shimmering skin perfector. I used to love Tarte foundations, but they changed the formulas. They also discontinued my lipstick so I'm out.
