Great video Scotty as always. Very informative. I came across this because I am driving a rental minivan and really enjoying it. It’s incredibly comfortable and functional. The ability to transport passengers, and or cargo is very attractive. I really wish I could get one of these for my wife, but she is like so many bought into the social stigma of the soccer mom. I really don’t care much about the cool factor of a vehicle. It’s a nice ego booster to drive around a cool fashionable vehicle but it’s bogus in the end.it’s not real self-esteem it’s just like getting likes on social media… Artificial and short term.

For me I'll probably be more suicidal than most. Fit resting I'll probably eat at restaurants when I'm in towns, however I'll probably have dry precooked food at national parks or camp sites. I refuse to cook and clean in a nomadic home, that's why public restrooms and restaurants are necessary. This lifestyle, in order to stay safe and survive, requires one to be even more social than they think.

Replace the caddy with 2 small totes with lids and stacked.

Do you have room to have two beds side by side?

For screens, I recommend getting mosquito netting no see-um fabric and just holding it in place on the inside of the metal door frames with 1/2 inch rare earth magnets every few inches. Cut to size, leaving an inch or 2 around the edge, and several inches at the bottom. don't bother trying to sew them in, it was a pain, and not any better or easier to set up. When you do it this way, you don't have to worry about getting the right size, it's stealthy and can't easily be seen from the outside, and you can roll up the windows with it installed and drive with it.

I really enjoy your video but please put a old towel or cheap plastic table cloth on the picnic table. I've seen people put everything and I do mean everything on those tables. I sure wouldn't put anything I'm going to eat or eat off of on that unprotected surface. Have fun😊

My best friend has been living in a 2006 Sienna full time since March of 2020. It looks comfortable.

Cooking on your bed is a no-go. One spill and you're done for. Insta-pot inside, particularly in cold weather, results in a huge blast of steam that drenches everything.

Stew pot, sauce pan, pop corn, breakfast skillet and griddle.
I have other options, but use it for every meal.
The other options, mostly sit.

Wouldn’t a Gazelle (or Clam Quickset) gazebo be easier than the awning? Then you can position it anywhere and it actually goes up quicker. You can get the Gazelle really cheap end of season.

I recently bought an older sienna to do the same thing. I plan to install a 2 inch lift kit and good shocks and struts but I am very interested in those air bags. Do you have a video just about those or can you tell me more pretty please? Happy trails!

Is there a reason why you got the Oupes 1200 Power twice in that calculation? You carry two of them?

Great ideas, and well presented video. I have a similar cot and use a self-inflating air mattress + foam pad. I no longer carry a fridge, learning how to live comfortably without it. I do have a barrel type porta-potty filled with a small amount of horse stall pine pellets for no odor and super easy dry disposal.

I wouldn't be able to live in a van if I wasn't able to stand up. Back issues would soon develop. Why not use a high-roof van or a camper topper?
