MY BEST AND WORST CURLY HAIR PRODUCTS OF 2024

I'd love to get that Dyson diffuser but only if it fits my existing Dyson dryer. I don't want to fork out for a new dryer. I love Curlsmith and use it every day. I use the volumizing Mousse and leave in conditioner (along with the Hydro style flex jelly) and my hair stays for days (recently stayed for 5 days).

Rosemary oil and a boar bristle brush have helped a lot with my hair growth 🖤✨️ also just taking a deep breath and taking my time brushing my hair instead of being rushed and hard brushing, I've noticed a lot less shedding by just being gentle!

I had naturally curly hair as a child and something happened after my mom chopped it off (not my choice) she was cutting my hair and it wasn't even, she tried to make it even, so it got shorter and shorter lol. As my hair grew it was straight as a board! Later it got some wave to it, long story short I now have a perm on my hair, so watching your videos to help navigate through my curly girl journey. 2 out of 3 of my children have beautiful curly hair! Trying to help them as well lol. I definitely appreciate all your advice and help!

In 2024, my hair went from thick curls to mostly thin straight, go figure with the aging and the hormones and no more coloring … the fun continues! Happy New Year to all 🎊 never stop learning!

I have curly and wavy hair, but VERY fine and cant use most products marketed as curly hair products, because they tend to be to heavy for me, like, my hair is dry, my scalp is dry, but my hair is so fine that all those extra butters and oils just dont work for me. HOWEVER, I loveeee your channel! You are fun, and I do get great tips from your channel (ok maybe maybe a video idea could be a video for product and styling recs for fiiiiiine and dry curly hair!)

Always love watching your videos and recommendations. I am loving the Amika Normcare shampoo/conditioner, AG Recoil, and my holy grail is Uncle Funky's Daughter Curl Magic (tried other gels and always come back to this one). Looking forward to your more affordable reviews in 2025.

I recommend you try Davines No Gas Hair Spray. It's my favorite spray for curly hair. It's strong hold without the crunch. Very natural on my hair.

The code for bounce curl brush doesn't work on the brushes. I've had several emails with their customer service department, and the code mell10 has restrictions. Discount doesn't apply to brushes. 😢
Even when I signed up for their newsletter & text alerts, the "BCWelcome15" code didn't work on the brushes.

I am not a fan of the new verb formula, though I never tried the old one. There’s like zero hold on me while also having a weird amount of weight. The definition is fine but for $20 I can get fine for cheaper

I have extremely dry damaged frizzy hair due to bleaching blonde, It's also breaking whenever I touch my hair. I've been trying to repair but failing due to not knowing which products to use. I have tried olaplex bond #4, but this hasn't worked 😢 or I'm not using it correctly? I've just stopped bleaching my hair so I can repair it. My curls always seems to clump up and stiffen wherever it's moved, it doesn't fall freely. PLEASE HELP 🙏

My hair has very minimal volume, so maybe I’ll give some of Curlsmith volumizing products a try, but only when they launch trial sizes lol. Those hair matching scrunchies are so cute as well. Wax sticks look so cool, but I don’t really slick my hair back at all. Finally, is the Unbrush brush really worth it?

Love your hair and the color, looks gorgeous on you. I really like the As I Am Castor oil water for detangling it works great on my hair and provides so much moisture to it. Makes detangling so easy and I have the Unbrush, tangle teezer , denman and bouncecurl brush. I also love The Doux High Def Mousse. I'll have to try the Pattern mouse. Tried to use the mell10 code for the bounce brush but it said invalid.

The Ouidad line (even the rebrand) is still what works best on my fine coily curl hair. It holds my style for my 6-7 day wash cycle and leaves it hydrated and style-able. Ouidad has been the brand that works best for me for 20 years. The formulas just work with my hair-type/chemistry. 🤷‍♀️

I actually like the verb foaming gel…I have Irish curls, it helps my top hair curl better.

Oh NO! I've recently bought the Curlsmith Volume line and the Ouidad Moisture Lock line. I bought them without looking at YT reviews. Why?!! I guess I learned my lesson now.

I love that brush so much, gaaaame changer for my low density, thin hair! Also bummed I didn't get to try the verb in the original formula. I got it after and it was waaaay too heavy. Unfortunately. I think it's also important to note.. If you have a license, products are around half retail when you purchase at a license only store...

I love your videos. My issue(s) is aging hair my curls have completely changed and I’m struggling to find products that will minimize frizz and maximize curl. I have never colored this 76yr old hair and have been blessed with good color so I’ll continue to go natural except my hair has gotten fine in texture. My hair game changer has been ditching all the cremes and gels and switching to a little leave in conditioner and a rich mousse, applied after I brush style my soaking wet hair. I guess my waves and curls were being weighed down. Now they last for a few days (which is kind of a bid deal if you’re a wavy rather than a curly!). It’s not fancy, but my hair is loving the drugstore brand, Cake.
