This is awesome yes but the reason I can't get my Ged is because I can't remember the math I've learned I know my brain learned it just can't access the memories but I can understand it all when I'm high.. Fml
ОтветитьI learned that math and physics can help you unlock the world. I am an information goblin.
ОтветитьParents: Watch Khan Academy for math prep.
TEDx Talks: Math is a language.
Me: I could watch 5 Khan Academy videos and not learn one thing, so this is quite understandable :D
When I was in high school, my teacher taught me how to calculate the surface of a ball. Instead of simply giving us the formula, he brought us oranges for all students. He told us to slice the orange in half and make 4 circles on a piece of paper using the sliced orange. Then, he told us to remove the orange peel little by little and start sticking it to the 4 circles we made. I was stunned when I realized that the orange peel does exactly fill all 4 circles. Since then, I started to see math formulas differently :)
ОтветитьI cant even practice math..to practice something you need to know little bit about it
ОтветитьBro this is for kids .I'm just 17 yo and I'm struggling with" limites et continuité "
ОтветитьBrilliant Energy, and Concept!👏👏 Many thanks for coming out amazingly 🎉
ОтветитьPeople should get a Crowley thoth tarot deck and learn the geometry it contains 💯
ОтветитьCrowley's unicursal is the quantum grid. Geometry
ОтветитьMath is fun. Chemistry not so much.
ОтветитьNormal guys :- 7 three times is 21
Indians kid (including me when i was a kid) :- 7 threeza 21😂
Ok but in this way they just get the answer but don't really understand for example what a fraction is ?!
ОтветитьThis is awesome...I teach language at high school but I have no clue of the language of Mathematics...and I do agree with the language approach....makes perfect. 😊
ОтветитьBrothers and Sisters, God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ for us, who, bled and died on a cross for us to redeem us from death, to gain life everlasting, for those who put their trust in him. And what's more, he has risen, and is willing to call you to repentance (correction) and as his witness, by his grace indeed. "For it is by grace you have been saved". Jesus loves you, God cares for you!
ОтветитьGreat teacher and good person❤❤
ОтветитьGood day sir I have a problem learning maths and it's really affecting me 😢 I need help
ОтветитьI am abysmally bad at maths, and I don't understand the subject. And as I stated already in a previous comment, I don't believe it's a language.
A while ago I read an interesting view on maths by French mathematician Cedric VIllani: he wrote that our brains were made to speak languages, but not to speak maths, which he says is an activity that goes "against nature".
That doesn't mean he doesn't like maths or can't "do" it: he's a Fields medallist.
수학은 어렵지 않다 그것은 언어다? 그건 저사람만 그런거고 대부분 어려워함 교대갈애가 수능 22점이면 말 다했지
ОтветитьIn India, specially most of the teachers lack energy and they punish the students or threaten them, instead of telling them to learn properly!
ОтветитьActually, teachers have to be freindly like you to teach maths, if one creates an enviroment like these then yeah, it's going to be harder for students who could not grasp the concept!
Ответитьtbh its just the teachers who teach in textbook materials and expect us kids to do our shi* toward these problems
Ответитьmath itself is reality
ОтветитьNo math is hard
ОтветитьY'all are amazing! Blessings, julie
ОтветитьMath isn't hard, if ...
if you have good teacher, making it easier.
I feel like analogys are more helpful for remembering things than actually learning what it is ......being a student who have studied for jee I think that their must be broader ways to learn and understand math..cause my perception towards it changed once I entered 11 standard as it was no more that old same math where some basic knowledge was directly applied to questions instead a more complicated version was their with various concepts applied in a single question ...more like geometry algebra and calculas all in a single ques
ОтветитьAs an Indian i just don't understand why is these simple problems are hard for Americans
ОтветитьMaths is a game
Ответитьhey there it's sailu.. I was very good in my junior high school days . I know its probably so easy in that time . but now I'm in senior high school., and I'm struggling... still I wanna go with math . is there something to do... to gain my confidence
ОтветитьThen tell me "thanks for watching my video" in the language of math😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThank you so much
Ответить''Mathematics may be defined as the subject in which we never know what we are talking about, nor whether what we are saying is true.'' Bertrand Russell
ОтветитьThank you for helping to articulate my thoughts for the longest time. 👍👏
ОтветитьThat was really a unique way of teaching maths. Thank You sir❤️
ОтветитьBut language is also hard.
Ответитьexcellent speech
Ответить😲
Ответитьmath will always be hard, because at a certain point it stops having practical use. No one buys 16 squared oranges in the super marked, or buys a bag of ab+c squared 9 potato chips.
ОтветитьI like that
ОтветитьSo, if i do not misunderstand, he thought concepts like the additive group of the rational numbers by considering it as a Z-Module? That's pretty clever, because all abelian groups are Z-modules.
In general, it seems people learn concepts best if they have structure preserving maps to these structures from structures they previously already learned.
The only problem here is, that we only learn about the additive group structures, but not the multiplicative structures
“It’s like trying to read only knowing 44% of the alphabet.” You just described my life and validated my fears. Thank you.
ОтветитьAs someone who is obsessed with language and going to become a sign language interpreter who doesn’t really need math but also wants to know how to interpret well enough for a Deaf kid one day (and I have a midterm I should have studied for more today) THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!
Ответитьim goning to teach algebra to my 3 year old, lol
ОтветитьMath is always interesting.
ОтветитьHe is quite right this man, the words, the language are so vital. I think also mathematical exposition is less valued than it should be. To write mathematics well takes a lot of effort and a love for the written word. But mathematical horse-power takes precedence in the academic world, and good writing does not get valued enough. As Nikola Tesla said it is clearness of thinking that is being lost in favour of depth of thinking. And clear writing is closely allied to clear thinking.
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьAwesome! ❤
Ответитьstruggled in math all my life. freshman year in college, second semester, was the first time i EVER thought it was fun/interesting
ОтветитьI used to have a keen interest in mathematics but I was not the fastest learners, teachers don't Care if you understand it, 3-4 student understand it they thinks everyone know it, I don't think math is a hard Subject it just needstime and Consistency.
