Knowing where to hunt is one of the hardest things about hunting. If you find yourself hunting a lot of places where you do not see a thing, maybe you aren't hunting in the right spots. You don't want to just go in to the woods, look at a spot and just say "This should be good." You want to know you're in a high percentage spot. And those spots have habitat and terrain features that bring deer to you. There are many great places that will funnel and direct deer movement. In this video we go over three tips to set up in high percentage spots.

I hunt in the ozarks in MO. The property I hunt is 40 acres of oaks and acorns are literally everywhere. Any tips to help funnel deer a little more? I typically hunt over a dry river bed with multiple draws running into it. Deer are abundant, but their routes are very sporadic while feeding.

I hunt pressured public land, as the other hunters go to the back, far away from other hunters like every hunting magazine and you are saying, I sit by parking spots and fences that deer use to escape from the hunters going far back....lol I see so many bucks it's not funny. And as the hunters start heading back to their trucks or just walking around to sneak up on that big buck they push more deer to me. You don't always have to go far back to kill big mature bucks. I know I do every year. Plus I don't want to drag one 2 miles when I can shoot one by parking 🙃

Just remember, if you go deep in the bush and shoot Bullwinkle, you have to be able to get him out too
