I’m pretty sure it’s like a fact that fire burns hotter than magma which means the flare flare fruit would be stronger than the Magma Magma fruit, not to mention Ace died because he shielded luffy from Akainu. But then after Marco literally stopped akainu with flames. So essentially Ace might’ve stood a much better chance against akainu if luffy wasn’t in danger. The lightning and light fruits are most likely meant for more direct hits and hitting your opponent many times and very quickly, ceasers gas fruit is probably the best for stealthy attacks due to the fact that you can sneak through vents and take all the oxygen out of the room you’re in, and akainu’s fruit, the magma-magma fruit, is best for hitting heavily but slowly, attempting to finish the enemy in one blow would be the main goal with the magma fruit.
