How to propagate your aquarium plants as beginner? How to get free anubias nana, barteri or java fern? This is easy step by step guide for plant propagation. Don't forget to like the video!
Ответитьsir the cover lid no holes?
ОтветитьI use a pen knife to avoid the rot by squeeze ❤
ОтветитьWhen they have 3 or 4 nodes on the rhizome they are easy to split with a sharp fingernail or knife.
I've even floated single leaves and stems and they have carried on growing and shown new shoots etc.
I know this is an old video but, my Anubis do GREAT ! But my Java fern does not . The rysone grows but the leaves melt away and don’t come back .
ОтветитьSo glad I found you!!!!
ОтветитьAnd is it ok to use leca as substrate for those anubias?
Ответитьdo they grow faster in emersed than submerged?
ОтветитьI appreciate you
Thank u
Ive been wasting $ re buying plants everytime it dies
I love the resourceful approach 👍
Do you not get leaf die back once you submerge the plants?
ОтветитьI learned something very nice from you....thank you
ОтветитьMy java fern looks like it has new leaves growing out of it. Are these new plants?? Can I pull them off and make new plants
ОтветитьFantastic idea, thanks for sharing 😊
Ответитьamazing video. Wanted to find out if it will melt back once you in the fishtank?
Ответитьu are amazing
ОтветитьWould a small amount of leca be ok as grow medium? Or maybe small rockwool cubes?
ОтветитьHow Many times you should spray them everyday? And also is Fertilizer a must? Or light itself is all good? Thank you.
Ответить😊 🤔 Great thaught thanks
ОтветитьI ripped a java Fer leaf off on accident and fount out it will grow a few new java ferns if that happens
ОтветитьBrilliant!! Will try this!!
ОтветитьCan you propagate from a piece of rhizome that does not have any leaves or roots?
Ответитьone end of the rhizome of Anubias is growing and the other end I don't see any growth?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьWill it work for outdoor using just sun as the light?
ОтветитьWow this video was super informative, for feeding them is the nutrient solution you mentioned at the start what you water them with everyday? If not how often do you feed them that solution?
ОтветитьVery interesting! Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this most generous information!
ОтветитьWhat fertilizer do you use?😊
ОтветитьAre you using fertilizer for the anubias in the cup?
Ответитьvery very nice!!!!
yhanks
This is an amazing idea. Was the lightning time for 8hrs? Or would using natural sunlight also do the trick?
ОтветитьSO healthy looking. I'm trying to get my mom into growing some water plants for me because she's got a green thumb. I kill everything and everything looks unhealthy. I will try this method when I start to get some good growth on the roots.
ОтветитьHi great video!!! When you use the new Anubis’s in an submerged situation there will be no die back????
Ответить💪🏻🫡
ОтветитьSo with regards to java fern its not necessary to propogate it using the rhizome as if you cut off the tips of the leaves and leave them floating they eventually make their own rhizome this is how Java ferns propogate in nature
ОтветитьI bought 1 anubias and now i have 4 of them and i plan to make 8 out of it … i just keep them in my fish tank … and they grow on their own!
Ответитьthx, nice job, where i live, there a fish shop,,, they have the plants like u but a big box and like cascade they make they plants come from up to down,, and just water running the same....all plants out of water just risom is in water...^^
ОтветитьWould love to know what wattage etc that tiny lignt over the small plant growout tank at the end was, both java and anubias are supposedly low light lovers interesting to see how lush the new growth was considering how close to the light they were 🤔
ОтветитьI love this video.
ОтветитьGreat explanation thank u
ОтветитьLo ho provato oggi. Ti terró aggiornato e ti ringrazio anticipatamente
Ответитьand you can sell those new anubias too
ОтветитьWow awesome thanks for sharing 👍👍❤️ it
ОтветитьThank you for your post, I’ll try out too
ОтветитьHi
I do have anubias in my planted tank. General issue of algae. Please advise me how to get out from this algae issue to feel the real green on this babies. & i do regular water changes as well.
great video! i love anubias
ОтветитьBOSS.. thank you 🙏🙏 anubias are so expensive here locally
ОтветитьYou are the best....!!!
ОтветитьI bought 1 and ended with 8.
12 is amazing. This video was so enjoyable to watch, thank you!
i don't do emersed propagation because when you grow it emersed and plant it in the tank it would die back since all the leaves are emersed grown and it would grow new ones submerged so whats the point? just cut it in smaller pieces drop it in the tank let it grow submerged leaves then use it to scape.
