Thanks everyone for your patience (hopefully haha). I'm finally back and active after recovering the information for this account after many years of detective work. Look forward to more wart free... you guys know what I'm talking about... videos. I'm ecstatic to start sharing my true passion again. Tight lines and stay tuned.
ОтветитьI don't fish very often. I tried using a baitcaster a few years back and never really got good at it. I always got it tangled up. It was too much of a hassle.
My friend wants to start fishing and wants me to do some fishing with him. I'll probably get a Zebco33 but would like to try a spinner reel too.
Why does he repeat himself so much? Its not like rocket science...
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьPeople don't talk much about the tension on the drag. Is there any kind of optimal tension to use or not?
ОтветитьYou talk too damn much.
ОтветитьAppreciate it. 👍🏽
ОтветитьThanks for the video bro!
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьThis video was “reel” helpful 😅 but honestly it was I’m going fishing with my sons this weekend and had no idea how to use this
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Glad you are back on.
ОтветитьBeen using regular reels all my life. Thanks, now I want to get one.
ОтветитьGreat explanation 💯
ОтветитьA problem I’m running into is when I cast out and let’s say I get a fish and begin reeling in, the line gets caught on the metal part of the reel below where it’s supposed to because the reel is bobbing up and down. This is creating tangles, loops, and many naughts. Does anyone know how to prevent this please?
ОтветитьThx bro
ОтветитьWhat area in stone mtn is this?
ОтветитьThanks dude just put together a blowfish gun and bought a spinning reel for it and looked this up good tips and straight to the point.
ОтветитьThanks for guiding me
ОтветитьThank you for the nice video brother.... appreciations from India.
ОтветитьWrong. You should be trapping the line against the spool with your middle finger. Not trapping the line against the handle. You can then use the same finger to brake the line before the lure hits the water. Eliminating any bow in the line.
That is how to cast correctly.
Good video
ОтветитьHi, both myself and one other have used 3 reels each similar to yours, as beginners. Each reel is set up the same as yours but why is it that both of us end up unable to reel in? The line also gets all looped and twisted. We do manually put the metal clip over the line to reel it in, but neither of us knows what we are doing wrong. 4 fishing trips later with new reels again, it's the same all over again. Also, what is that little rectangle eyelet to be used for, on the rod itself. I used that as the first eyelet but you don't seem to use it? Thanks.
ОтветитьNew to the fishing world. I'm 43 years old and just got spinning reel rod combo for my birthday. Awesome Video. Keep up the good work 🎣🎣
ОтветитьIf you see a dead body floating, don't eat the fish. LOL. Criminals do that type of shit.
ОтветитьGreat info- just what I was looking for thx.
ОтветитьWhat's your fishing rod? Brand and price please?
ОтветитьRecently purchased a spinning reel in an effort to get back into fishing with my sons. This video really helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. Thanks for making it!
ОтветитьYou are God of Money
ОтветитьThank you sir!
ОтветитьI feel dumb ive been holding it wrong my whole life
ОтветитьYou are incorrect. The handle should be located on the right side for right handed fisherman. Bait cast, offshore reels all have the crank on the right. Try it... it is much better for control and cranking precision.
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьReally love it Alex you so Humbel let me know about floating in fishing
ОтветитьThis is the kinda reel i learned on, funny thing is im right handed but my dad is a lefty. Didnt realize ive been technically fishing as a lefty all this time cuz thats how i was taught
ОтветитьAlways used spinning reels as a kid but never learned how to deal with tangling and stuff. Doesn't help in left-handed and haven't fished in 10+ years lol
ОтветитьCannot keep my line from coming loose and ending up under the back of the reel when I cast and start to reel in. . Could somebody please offer what I am doing wrong. Thank you
ОтветитьI'm watching this 20 minutes before going fishing with my boss😅😅😅😅😅
ОтветитьHey dude, you have said too much-- thanks -rookie here🙃
ОтветитьTwo years old but still good info. I will tell my new fishing buddy to watch this. I fish a local city pond here on occasion. Usually if I don't have long to fish I go there because easy and quick access. I have been running into a young man the last few weeks. He was fascinated by my spinning reels. He had never seen one before in person undoubtedly. I asked him about what he used and he said "baitcaster" I said ah you mean spincaster. He very much said "no I mean the open face reel". Sure enough the next week I saw him again and he was using a baitcaster. He wanted to try a spinner but said he was worried he wouldn't be able to can't with it. I said well surely if you can master a baitcaster you can certainly use a spinner. I was wrong. I watched and tried to teach him for an hour. He absolutely couldn't cast it. Even super bird nested it twice. I can't understand at all how he can be a wizard with a baitcaster and completely fail at a spinner. Had a old timer even come over and try to help him. He couldn't be helped. It's just baffling to me that anyone would have trouble with a spinning reel and ace a baitcaster. I guess I take for granted growing up using both.
ОтветитьNotch on reel for setting depth. It’s not there for looks.
ОтветитьReely? I had no ideas before!
ОтветитьThank you very much waiting to use it it has been 3 years when I order it
ОтветитьNice and clear bro...
