Living in BE for 30 years. Both NVA and VB are far-right.
ОтветитьThey should rename Belgium "Homer", so the two are neighbors
ОтветитьBelgian here... I am white, and I live in a very poor and drug influenced city in belgium/Flanders... We have a lot of immigrants and people from belgium tend to see them as the reason for all the drug violence and yeh... NVA and VB dont tell you this but their ways of solving the imigration problem is very unethical and racist in general... Also.. NVA and VB have ads everywhere, even in the middle of nowhere signs and quotes hanging... it feels like propaganda... My concern is that NVA and VB are exttremely racist and use anything to prove that people from other cultures are bad for flanders... My city even got in the news bcz of some fight at the train station... VB used it to 'prove' that black people are the reason of this kind of violence... kinda..
Its fvcked up how much advertising they use in a very unethical way...
Bart de bever kan mijn gat kussen
ОтветитьVlaams Belang has been our biggest party for a long time, when it got the majority of votes the left wingers desperately threw their votes together so they could hold on to power. That should tell you all you need to know about election "integrity"..
ОтветитьI hope that VB wins i want flanders to be flanders
Ответитьno in brussels they speak arabic
ОтветитьIt won't but it should. Nothing to do with far-right, Belgium has always been an artificial country and the Dutch-speaking part should become part of the Netherlands to which it historically belongs.
ОтветитьNo we don't want to split. Separatism is backwards. We have way too many governments that we have to get rid off. Unity is the answer. Also VB only poses as an anti-establishment party, they rake in just as much tax money as the so called establishment they're against.
(Good job on trying to explain how the governments work as it is ridiculous."
No offense, but ditch the nationalistic lion flag and maybe go for the Flemish lion with red flames and nails. Most people aren't really into that whole nationalist vibe.
The VB (Flemish Interest) is all about immigration talk, trying to convince clueless voters without them really knowing what they're voting for. Nobody really knows what else they stand for. They act all chill, but they're actually a pretty sneaky bunch op SOB's
Honestly, Belgian politics are like trying to balance a wet rag on its edge. It might work eventually, but it takes forever and a lot of effort.
the walonians dont want to splut up because that would mean they cant leech off of the flamish and theyre gonna have to find a job
ОтветитьCalling them 'far-right' just shows how little you know about them haha. Leave it to us, thanks
ОтветитьYou did a great job explaining this mess! After 4 decades in this country I can tell you a lot will be said, yet nothing will change. *Side note: Brussels being bilingual in French and Arab.
ОтветитьWhy ? Because people grow dumber and dumber with years going on and now a part of them think that all the problems they have in their tiny dutch speaking part are caused by "the others".
Years from now another very right party (N-VA) had the same votebait slogan and they took control of the northern part of the country. After years in power, nothing changed, they did not solve any problem with their habbit to blame "the others" and "the foreigners" and so another very righ party (VB) just takes the same argumentation and comes again. When will the people learn that these populist-extremist parties don't solve anything more than the others? Maybe it's hard to accept that maybe the problems we have are not only caused by "the others" and that we are part of it?
Migration and similar stuffs are just a big decoy thrown to the population to make it look in the wrong direction...
Thx for the video. Now i know we got elections on the 9th of june 🙏👍
ОтветитьAs a Belgian, I think most people vote Vlaams Belang for stricter migration laws.
I vote Vlaams Belang to break the cordon sanitair because I think it's a undemocratic practice. I also think that not having the largest party in the government is undemocratic.
it depends how you ask the people what you think is imporant. If you ask if it's imporant to split most of the Flemings will say no. If you ask if they want to stop paying 1500 euro per year to Wallonia the answer will be yes.
ОтветитьFlanders deserves to be independent 💛🖤
ОтветитьFlemish people are known to be a whiny complaining population and most of all very racist
ОтветитьOh yea, baby, imagine not having to pay for stupid wars couse of our elections 😂
ОтветитьVlaams belang will need probably 45% to do what they want...
ОтветитьWe just want to protect our children!!! If it was up to me i close the borders!!!
ОтветитьGood to mention the extreme left, extremely populist 'Workers party' because that shows the main issue: extremes all together, rising due to a general feeling of being let down by the parties that have governed for decades.
Ответитьbrussels is in theory bilingual, except for the fact that it's purely french there. They barely know English and Dutch will get you nowhere there.
ОтветитьWe won't.
ОтветитьTheir is no more democratie in Belgium
ОтветитьThe numbers are not perfectly representative. New this year is that teenagers from the age of 16 now can vote too. Among the 16-18 yo, Vlaams Belang and CD&V are extremely popular, both taking up almost 50% of all the votes by teenagers (based on the results from votings held at schools), leaving the other parties with around 10% together. If we talk about independence, Flanders is the most likely of all European countries to become independent. Wallonia has an even more terrible political state than the Flanders, not even talking about the economic state. Every year, Flanders has to donate over 12 billion euros to Wallonia (Federal agreement) because they can't keep up their part of the country by themselves. Which is becoming even more every year. If 50% of the Parlement in Flanders votes for independence, Wallonia can't do anything to stop it. The only party who will try to stop it is the EU, as Wallonia will cause big problems for other surrounding countries and isn't economically and politically stable enough to participate in the EU, making them a nuisance to the European Union. On the other side, Flanders is economically extremely stable and could grow out to be one of the best-performing countries in the EU, which is great for Flanders, but not so great for other countries. Another consequence of independence, or much rather, extremely right getting power over the Flanders is the banishment of immigration. Even though the Flanders aren't that big, it would still annoy surrounding countries because they will end up getting more immigrants. So to summarise, even though the Flanders will most likely get the chance to become independent, the EU will try to stop it because of multiple problems it could cause to the surrounding countries. But for the Flanders, it would be the best-case scenario.
ОтветитьThere wouldn't be such an influx of far right voters if it wasn't for migration. Play a game, visit Brussels and try to find an ethnic Belgian, good luck 😂
ОтветитьIt won't split because these guys are morons who have no plan at all for what to do when it actually happens. Brussels for one, is the biggest question. It's a separate entity with two languages and hundreds of thousands of Flemish people work there and would pay their taxes there when the country splits.
ОтветитьTo be honest Vlaams belang is not interested in separation. They just want to rule the flemish part. They have no interest in ruling the federal state. This does NOT mean they want separation.
Ответитьas somebody from belgium if ur for the flemish intrest ur probaly a racist but personaly i am for Nva its right but not extreem right
ОтветитьI live there, there is no such talk among me my friends or my family. Not even on the news that ive seen. Not sure why people think we are splitting lol
ОтветитьImagine making a Simpsons making a whole episode in Belgium just to make a Flanders joke
ОтветитьFar right in belgium can't win because even if they win nobody is going to work together with them
ОтветитьAs a dutchie i always wondered if belgians wouldn't prefer having the north merge with holland and the south with france
ОтветитьI live in Belgium and the fact things like 'cordon sanitaire' exist makes u wonder what the point of elections are. We are supposed to live in a democracy where the majority of the vote rules. But if u vote for the 'wrong' party (chosen by the leftists) they cant get in power. Why have elections then, I know elections are there to keep the roleplay of democracy going while we all know EU is a dictatorship in disguise but stil. Theyre making it too obvious at this point.
ОтветитьBart De Wever told the public multiple times that he refuses to work with Vlaams Belang. Not sure where that article comes from.
Our country is a joke. There is no democracy at all. The winner loses, and the other parties wonder why the public isn't happy.
The seppies are taking over Belgium brothers. CLONES ADVANCE!!!
ОтветитьI remember years ago in my teens i met a flemish guy in Bretagne (France). As a Wallonian (from Liège) i had some clichés about the northern part and even if he was right wing and i left wing and we would only talk english because i don't talk dutch and he didn't talk french, we would be best friends for a week. I felt way more culturally connected with this guy than the french around us and you could see it in parties, always drinking the strongest beers and taking life not too seriously. I hope we don't split, i like the flemish people.
ОтветитьWhat never made sense to me as a Belgian, is why, in the national elections, I can only vote for the parties of my region. How is it a national election when I don’t have all the national choices?
Ответить"fun" fact: The flags that these people are waving shown in the fragments are NOT the official Flemish flag. But an adaptation of a battle flag mainly used by World Word 2 collaborators and since adopted as the "Flemish movement flag". Minor, but politically import distinction.
ОтветитьNVA is not the far right do your research better??
ОтветитьWhen conservative party s booking succes They immidiatly become far right.... IN THE MAINSTREAMMEDIA
ОтветитьTl;dr british man pretends to know country he doesn’t live in
ОтветитьFun fact: de Flemish Community has the same government as the Flemish Region! Keeping it simple here ;)
ОтветитьAs a Belgian, everyone who thinks we can split up has severe brain rot. Like it or not, Flanders and Wallonia need each other and we will go down if we divide. Our government is awful because of the two parts, but that is something that can be fixed without getting rid off each other.
ОтветитьI would suggest to stop using flags for languages. Flags are a symbol of nationality, and language isn't strictly a nationality (but often part of it). For example, there are many French speakers but not all of them have a french nationality.
ОтветитьQuestion is who will get Kevin De Bruyne.
ОтветитьUpdate: the Belgian government has agreed on activating article 195 of the constitution. This means the Belgian constitution will be unlocked after next elections, and Belgium is ready for a state reform (confederalism/Flemish independence).
ОтветитьMan Plato's warning about voting for the candy man instead of the doctor is more right then ever!!!
Who ever votes for Vlaams Belang are the biggest ignorant racist pieces of garbage.
And the worst part is some of my friends are voters and (they been to a special school) FOR A REASON!
If you live in West-Flanders your braincells get cramped and you do not think twice!! It is so IDIOTIC!!!
