how to update timberborn?
ОтветитьHeath Points = HP
ОтветитьLol on the subject of HP for power... RealCivilEngineer brought up the best suggestion, it should be BP for Beaver Power since the Power Wheel is literally Beaver Powered...
ОтветитьHP = Hauler Power. Its something that the Beavers measure in universe by how much work it takes to haul a standard unit of measure, one log.
ОтветитьSHAME! 👉 SHAME! 👉 SHAME! 👉 SHAME! 👉
Ответитьhp = Hydro Power
Ответитьthey should rename the HP to BP( beaver power)
Ответить10 days later and I still haven't gotten Update 5 :(
ОтветитьHave you ever considered doing an “episode 0” that releases with episode 1 that goes over patch notes and in depth season setup? That way you don’t have to be so time concerned for those that want to get to the action but those that want all the details have the option of getting your in depth dive.
ОтветитьAfter binging Imkibtiz and RCE, i have been looking for more city builders. At first i was hesitant to watch your content given how long the videos are. But just turned it to 1.5x, and i got to say, your content is amazing!
ОтветитьLAVA
ОтветитьTips for the newbies:
1. Yes it's best not to start with homes while using the gray beavers since those cost a lot of wood.
2. You're gonna wanna have at least 2 baby tanks to have you population progress forward instead of backwards.
3. I don't suggest doing the checkerboard tree thing at the start since you wanna use all those logs to rush a forester.
4. Think forward and with the future in mind especially with tree planting like making a small plot grow pine and a big (at least 2 times bigger) plot for oak since it gives the most logs for the least amount of labor and time overall.
5. You can use floodgates to control the direction where bad water goes so encase the water source with floodgates on two sides 1 that leads to your water supply and irrigation and the other that leads to the edge of the map.
6. for the Terrace map: I do suggest planting your crops closer to the water source and your trees closer to the waterfall since bad water straight up kills the plants it touches (including red roots thingy on the ground) so you do not want to plant any of your long growing plants like trees close to that thing.
Just found your channel. Looking forward to watching this. And hopefully a backlog of more Timberborn
ОтветитьHP - Hydro Power
ОтветитьI’m so confused by the strategy here after you got the forester, the chequered area could have been completely cut, replanted with trees and then cleared again before being used for farming in the next episode given the number of days it sat idle and you’d have so many more resources to do things like store water and generate food and shelter. Seems like a ton of time and resource has been wasted early on, this was a tough watch
ОтветитьHP: herbivore power
ОтветитьI hope there is a faction that leverages bad water
ОтветитьI constantly get Game crashing when in experimental mode and placing a district crossing no mods either, any one else get this?
Love the bad water idea and the new multi level TNT.
If the developers happened to read these, I hope they do a fallout shelter approach and have missions we can go off on and bring back new supplies, that would be cool, and maybe rival factions on the same map too.
Love this game.
HP=Hydro Power
Ответитьthey soooo need to make a new faction that has to live off bad water
ОтветитьAre districts still stupid or have they fixed them?
ОтветитьSeems like the checkrboard cutting doent help. If you clear cut,youd be replanting the forest much faster
ОтветитьI would love to play this on console ❤ if a dev sees this, please add it to ps5 please!!! ❤
ОтветитьLooks fresh appreciate the uploads
ОтветитьI am new and enjoying this
ОтветитьAlso, totally thought that was lava in the thumbnail.
ОтветитьFarmhouses really need an option to "prioritise dying crops" and "prioritise unplanted crops".
ОтветитьHp= Hose power
ОтветитьI'm concerned about the first Badtide. By the sound of it, when it happens, your water source blocks will generate badwater for the period, and, well, that suggests to me that starting near those is very dangerous. I can also see a lot of demand for special reservoirs near them with two sets of floodgates, so that you can ensure that badwater gets diverted into a spillway. The badwater source blocks are an amazing thing for Ironteeth though - they make waterwheels worth using again, so I do like that a lot.
Best of luck with this!
Badwater is cool, I still like to see a Flood cycle.
ОтветитьBased on what I read on Steam in the overview, I think it would be wise to double or perhaps even triple your water storage.
ОтветитьHaven't be able to catch the lives as much but Im still here lol hope every thing has been going good for you bud... starfield has consumed my life lol
ОтветитьBelow the pumps is a good spot for a big reservoir.
Will it be possible to detonate some of the bad water sources? Just to restrict it's volume and interference with good water. Keep enough to work with, but not impact Beaverburg so much.
HP = Hamster Paw-ers
ОтветитьAt least Beavers see it when their water is bad...unlike us
ОтветитьHP = Hallelujah Paws! The power replaces the need for manual paw labour from the beavers. Nobody knows exactly how it works... It´s almost like some higher beaver being has worked it's magic... Hallelujah!
ОтветитьHello JC, i love your bever content. Following in an exciting way the new faction and also this now with update 5. With white pawns i started same map as you did, and now have almost 1200 beavers hopping around. Btw waterweels....concerning the hp.....what about hydropower when power is generated in water :D
Thanks for content, its really joyfull 🤣
Kinda sadden trains and ladders arent in base game yet haha
ОтветитьI'm guessing that it would be smart to replace dams with floodgates as soon as possible to be able to flush out badwater from the system.
Ответитьyou can divert all the badwater into power generation. and then make goodwater storage in other areas. what I want is more realistic beavers like they have all their lodges flooded, but I want it official from the game, not from a mod. And in the more realistic, I think beavers should be able to dig into the ground on their own, they could make the mechanic interesting, to use water to make it easier to dig, to have digging of canals in early game, and keep the dynamite as it is.
ОтветитьHp = hydro power.
