NEW World's Fastest Car!
The new Spéirling Pure comes with all the goodies Max Chilton deployed at Goodwood. That means a twin-electric-motor setup powered by a 60kWh battery system detonating 745kW of electrons (or a nice, round 1,000bhp) on the rear axle.
Together with a “patented downforce on demand system” and a scarcely believable kerbweight of under 1,000kg, this thing is capable of serious numbers. Not just 190mph flat out, but also the fact it’ll pull 3G through the corners and be able to lap Silverstone 10 times at proper flat-out pace, then recharge in 20 minutes to do it all over again.
Top Gear Magazine’s Jack Rix reveals all the details and catches up with Ex-F1 and McMurtry Development Driver Max Chilton on his insane Goodwood Hillclimb record run.

This must of been made before the Rimac 1 or 2 was made.
Rimac has most of the records for being the fastest production car ever made. Rimac has the record for 0 to 60.. 0 to 100.. 0 to 100 to 0.. ect.
Careful with this one. Mere mortals need to take this car seriously.

The Volkswagen ID-R was not even a second slower than it at goodwood with no fans and only 680hp as opposed to 1,000. Volkswagen needs to tune that thing up and take it on a lap record-breaking tour

This is not fastest road car, it just is not.
we are in musk scam territory again.
The only way for this to achieve top speed is to put it on slick tiers. And the moment you do that it is no longer production car for road.
Also- this is not a car. It is a toy. A great and fun toy- but toy nevertheless.
I dare you to take this car to any city. Use it on a bump roads, use it over those speed bumps, take it to elevated road.
First police officer will pull you a side and tow your car for not having registration- because you cant register this thing for road usage.
I do not get it.
Even the owner is full of crap- he himself said "I want to make best roadgoing small cars in the world"- proceed to make a bolid track car and continue to call it road car.

I stopped watching when it said.. electric. After that I really do not give rats ass on "performance" and do not really consider them to be cars. Unless that can do 1300km on one charge, otherwise it is as useless as any other toy car. And does not sound cool. And the "electric cars save environment" is a well marketed hoax to the ignorant and the gullible.

The worlds fastest car is a pointless title that changes hands every few months now. I’m happy with mine, and beyond a certain point it becomes dangerous and uncontrollable.

Great for a track but next to useless for the road. A V8 spec Gemera can hold 4 adults, 0-100km in maybe 1.7 secs and drive 1,000km, and go way over 400 km/h. Also comes with 8 cupholders, 4 suitcases and all the advantages of hybrid technology.

Wonder what sort of lap time Mark Higgins would achieve at the TT course in this beast.
Would be a bit tight on the battery lasting close on 38 miles when it can only do 10 laps of Silverstone.
