Mahia Peninsula Motorcycle Ride

A nice motorbike ride to the end of the Mahia Penisula in Hawke's Bay. Last time I rode there I dropped my bike and tore a calf muscle trying to lift it. (https://youtu.be/L3b5CY9icmw) No such problems this time. The gravel road has largely been sealed. The only butt-clenching moments were having to ride over a thinck layer of course gravel where they were starting to lay new surface.
I had a ride around the campsite thinking that I may stay there one day so that I can watch a rocket launch. Nah - not my type of campsite.
The views were spectacular. The video does not do it justice. The only problem is that there are very few places where you can stop to enjoy the view. And now that the road is sealed there is a lot more traffic. So you can't just stop in the middle of the road for a quick photo.
