Anyone else just getting a dark screen with the lock pick game , keeps seeing these animated hand lift the digipick up then look down it in videos, is this modded or am I missing something?

Worst lockpick minigame ever created. I am really close to just uninstall game because this utter bullshit.

I figured out lockpicking on my 3rd "attempt". I thought Bethesda was gonna come up with a more life-like picking mini-game but let's hope our friendly neighborhood modders provide it for us.

I farmed 94 digipicks last night and theyre gone already 😂😂😂😂😂.

How does auto slot work

The biggest issue ive run into is doing thing correctly but having a ring pop up that doesnt fit any of the pins on screen. Like it wasnt even in the line up its just like nope burn a pick and try again.

I just cheated and gave myself infinite digpicks.

so you can put one key in a ring as long as it covers open slots - even if there are remaining holes in that ring? I thought you had to cover ALL holes in each ring before you slot the key(s)...

It seems if you use say a 1 pin pick on a lock that has 2-3 slots then it adds another layer?

Dude.. even the LockPickingLawyer will have to spend at least 5 seconds on some of these locks.. they are pretty tough

Man..I got this perk to do expert locks and didn't know it changes blue lol

This is the most un-fun annoying lock-picking mechanic and it's rarely worth the effort. I just use console unlock and move on with life.

i do it backwards start inner lock first to outer lock

I have always hated these silly little lock mini games in all Beth titles going back to Morrowind and if I can get a mod to defeat them without screwing up achievements or skill progression I always use that...however...this really helped me understand how the underlying methodology actually operates ( especially how important level 2 blue line is, thanx SO much )

i think id like if these were timed and increasing skill also adds more time and in exchange you can attempt picks 1 level above but its extremely hard with the time instead of not being able to touch anylock above your level.

This is hands down the hardest Bathesda lockpick ever.
