ОтветитьSomebody tell me wth happened to Title Fight
ОтветитьBrave Little Abacus not mentioned, video disregarded
ОтветитьIs shoegaze just droning sounds and rhythms? Doom and Black metal are my top tiers and Title Fight hits my doomy itch. Is Blood Pact shoegaze?
ОтветитьWhy is Appleseed cast not mentioned?

Ответить“absolutel fuck of a song” ☠️
ОтветитьThese are just flat out not emo bands
ОтветитьMy wife’s ex was a big emo guy. She said that’s exactly why she dumped him and married me less than a year later after my army contract was up. I bet he’s in his feels now crying while me and his ex now my wife of 10 years has the best life ever. If emo ever pops up on the radio my wife and I start laughing and I say, “hey remember that gay guy you dated that one time”? 😂
ОтветитьThis was a great video
ОтветитьI fucking love Floral Green, lets fight. Also Head in the Ceiling Fan is a masterpiece, a total love letter to HUM. Finally, Title Fight were never Midwest Emo anyways, they were Melodic Hardcore and then Post Hardcore. Not sure why they're getting discussed at all.
ОтветитьSDRE gets a mention but not Mineral. So sad :(
ОтветитьLove the concept but this means 0 to most people who don't know anything lol.
ОтветитьI may anger Midwest Emo fans but their guitar riffs are basically pentatonic scales which make us feel things.
ОтветитьGood editing skills and nonchalant description of "don't take this too serious."
Coming from a true emo-head who grew up in abusive Croatian household, the midwest genre of American soul music saved my life on multiple occasions. I believe you should have taken more time and effort to make this video. If you truly cared about the subject, a long video would be natural and effortless.
Based on my observation, I conclude in my own opinion that you don't care enough about the subject to be giving such basic information on it. It does not help to usher a curious unsuspecting listener into discovering the genre. I don't even think that was your intention. I actually don't know if you really like emo music or if you're just making fun of it.
You did not open up your emotional-senses in the slightest during your vocational spilling of wikipedia words, and this shows me you have no emotional investment in the matter.
It actually seems like you're too scared to give any of your own opinions and/or experiences, possibly for fear of the content being received in a bad way or criticised. Ironically, the people with spiritual vision can see right through you, billy boy.
Your tiptoeing around your own emotions, and lack of sincerity and investment into the deeper layers of the onion that is Midwest Emo music, has landed a dislike on this video (from me, Dimitri of Dubrovnik).
I will still subscribe to you, though not to anticipate hearing the progression of your pre-pubescent voice as it matures into its full form, but to be notified when you finally release your 20+ minute remake of this video, which shall be entitled "The history of Midwest emo in twenty minutes."
If it is longer than 20 minutes that is even better.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I wish the best for you and I hope you succeed in your spiritual mission and fulfill the contracts you made with your angels before incarnating into this wonderful place we call Earth.
I'm glad to share this experience with you.
May we peel through the onion as we produce more content with greater meaning than we did yesterday.
This video is yesterday.
The new video remake is just a figment of the future which may be brought forth through the power of imagination
Regards,
Dimitri
You kids should check out Meat Puppets "Up on the Sun" album and Meat Puppets II
Those albums remind of this music kinda
is mccafferty midwest emo??
ОтветитьIts wild that I was a teenager born and raised in Michigan in the 2000s who by16(2017) started listening to more punk and emo because of freinds and someone I was with and I've never heard of any of these bands. Was I too young or too old?
