ОтветитьAlways liked this little tune. Thanks for posting!
ОтветитьBest cartoon network block
ОтветитьI must of seen the super adventure opening over a thousand times as a kid <3
Ответитьcool i have this too
ОтветитьAh 1992. The legendary channel was born.
ОтветитьOMG I have not seen this in years! I remember watching this as a kid. Thanks for posting.
ОтветитьAs neat as this is, what is the deal with these characters tossing the bomb? It looks like the bomb is just jumping on its own!
ОтветитьYup, your promo is from the second incarnation of Super Adventures (1994-1995) apparently.
ОтветитьThat's right, the granddaddy of CN's action blocks. "Super Adventures's legacy would live on in early Toonami through the "Cartoon Roulette" segments.
ОтветитьLong before Moltar and TOM.
ОтветитьHorray the Old Time Cartoon Network. More Classic. I don't like the new generation cartoons.
Ответить@trapadoored Yeah, I believe I read the same IGN interview with Mike Lazzo that you did...great read. For programming Turner may have been stingy, but for promotional efforts (which include the basic operational stuff of the network like bumpers and interstitials) I bet he was more generous, as some funding was needed to get the word out on CN.
Ответить@SuperAdventures I'm not surprised that Turner could afford it-I'm just surprised he actually chose to spend the money on CN-the Space Ghost guys said that was why they had to use old animation for coast to coast-Turner told them "I'll start giving cartoon network money when cartoon network starts making money." -or maybe they spent their whole budget for original programing making "the Moxy Pirate Show"!
Ответить@trapadoored yeah, I remembered watching it every saturday till it ended in 95
Ответить@toonhead2 -wait, so the 94-95 era was the "comin' at ya through space and time!" era?
Ответитьcool i remembe this i watch g-force in this
ОтветитьI remember this long before Toonami.
Ответить@trapadoored Then this definitely was the 1st intro to the show, before the '94-'95 revamp. It's just a 10 second clip, don't be surprised that Turner could afford that little. Just like their bumpers and promos, they probably farmed out the production.
