Good video D. One of my favorite beginner trails is berdoo canyon to geology trail in joshua tree. But hell any dirtroad away from the city is better than nothing. Just get out and explore
ОтветитьHonestly the hardest part is finding people to go with if you don't have a built in community of friends doing it already.
ОтветитьThat intro song sounds so 80s, I wish I could edit, you're the freaking Edit Master! I just missed the boat with this whole computer thing, last computer I was good at using was my Commodore 64.😂 I'm 49 , and my age group either knows computers 🖥 or has no idea? I've said to people around our age to look me up on Instagram and got "What's that?" Or "I don't do that shyt" That's a good idea for a how to edit videos, I probably still wouldn't get it, Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles I know, but technology, I'm lost? I've never even sent a email, that's what my fiance and little brother is for 😅
ОтветитьExcellent video and advice
ОтветитьI really like Clegghorn. Easy enough for total beginners and challenging enough for the experienced off-roader at the same time.
ОтветитьI have a great question to ask everyone, Have you ever had anyone absolutely hate offroad, or be a total dick cause they're afraid to scratch their brand new Tacoma? I have, my friend was losing his mind on a green or light blue trail, WTF? Don't build it, if you ain't gonna bring it 💯 % Who else hates a freaking poser? I know I can't stand them, how about you, and I guess "Overlanders" don't count, but actually, yes they do! 😅
ОтветитьFor myself located in Orange County.
-Santiago peak
-Lytle Creek - main trail
-Big Bear - Holcomb Valley, Skyline Divide
-Joshua Tree - Berdoo Canyon
Fire road type trails but fun for beginners
Great list brotha. Here are 4 additional ones.
1. Rowher Flats (clockwise starting from staging area 1)
2. Santiago Peak
3. West Camino Cielo
4. Old Dale Rd
I went on the last offshoot at cleghorn no turning back after that almost shit my pants 😂
ОтветитьSo if its on private land are we allowed to drive through it?
Ответить"Johnson Valley " ..........home to the KOH has a bit to offer.
ОтветитьPilot rock is fun and easy !
ОтветитьI wouldn't consider myself seasoned or n expert, but ocotillo wells is a blast unless its windy...Azusa canyon is always a blast also.looking forward to it reopening.
ОтветитьI can see how people make fun of not watching to scratch a new vehicle, but dammit I am one! I bought my super duty tremor because I tow a travel trailer (and it looks awesome). I have ZERO offroad experience (former road racer) but want to see what the truck can do. I don’t care about dirt/mud but draw the line at paint damage. Any USEFUL suggestions ?
ОтветитьNice video.
ОтветитьFarther north, Ventura area... Southern Los Padres forest. The Miller Jeep trail.
ОтветитьActually, finding a simple trail and just running it solo for the first time. Baby steps. Learning the pros and cons. Not having to worry about getting your paint scratched. If its for you.
Ответитьdope gotta hit the trails with your squad one day
ОтветитьI've always liked Berdoo Canyon into Joshua Tree for beginners, you end up in the park. It would be great if you mentioned a video that covered the core basics on all these back to the basics videos so people watching know there's some basic info they need to see before they hit the trail.
ОтветитьIs there a way around the obstacles you mentioned at Cleghorn?
Ответитьwould like to see a “best beginner off-road vehicle” video
Ответить3N69 good beginner trail
ОтветитьAs someone who is just starting out, this is exactly the type of content I was looking for. So THANK YOU!! Great video.
ОтветитьParking stops at Albertson's.
ОтветитьSo I just purchased a stock GX460 2023. I'm a newbie and plan to start the build on this truck. Two questions - can this vehicle (stock) handle these trials? What is the best way to meet people/groups (that won't laugh when I pull up in a stock 460)? Are there specific "newbie rides" or way to learn from others? Thanks. Great video. Thanks for making it.
ОтветитьWe will be in southern California and would like to do some easy trails, thanks for the list! While its advisable to wheel with another vehicle we almost never do because we don't know anyone in the areas we visit. is there any resources in southern California to help with this?
ОтветитьWill a zr2 hd duramax be any good ? I can't really see any offroad video on it besides going to johnson valley so can it hold up to these trails?
ОтветитьWhats a better off road trail for awd suv beginner? Im just starting and i really like to test out my awd suv.
ОтветитьVery good video brother I'll be moving to Southern California in a couple months Coachella valley area. One thing I keep hearing over and over again is don't go by yourself thing . if I don't go by myself I ain't never going to get to go man. But I get the concept I know all I can do is prepare as much as I can and have an emergency equipment and communications.other than that I'm going . Just going to have to adventure and be as safe as I can. But I'm definitely going trail riding and adventuring I can't wait.
ОтветитьDo you have any trail recommendations safe for 2wd only? I have my 4wd rigs but my nephew wants to take out his 2wd truck out in the trails with me.
