This won't come until 2028 probably
ОтветитьMigraine warning for zooming animation.
I just want a display which doesn't strobe, which is clear at low or no brightness, and which works at low frame rates, to avoid migraines and motion sickness. I've tried mirroring to e-ink displays, but get gray-on-gray instead of black on white. So I'm using a low-brightness lcd monitor.
Iphone came with the perfect solution for burn in. The screen monitots what is being displayed and gusses the image that could've burned in on the display, then it applies a filter of the color inversed burned in image, that way it literally fixed the burn in problem.
ОтветитьAnyone else thinking he said "the crap of the display formats" instead of "crab"?
ОтветитьI knew I wasn't crazy for seeing colors and patterns in the tv
ОтветитьI find converge evolution to be fascinating!
ОтветитьPlasma: "I was a relevant display technology, once..."
ОтветитьExcellent description with brilliant graphics to explain the tecs. Great video.
Ответитьwwow uhuh
ОтветитьEven though OLED/AMOLED is vivid, popping up colours.
But LCD is best display, imo.
LCDs are much more closer to real life colours & accuracy, Easier on eyes.
Basically the "meta design".
ОтветитьR.I.P Plasma TV
ОтветитьAmazing tech. People really need 150% Adobe RGB, color accurate quantum bozon/muon/ dot OLED ultra+ screens to death scroll through tiktok posts.
ОтветитьIn my opinion, OLED is the best tv so far. All he QLED TVs are just a fancy LED tv scam. At the end of the day, true contrast is only going to be possible with OLED at this time and the biggest picture difference you will get buying a tv right now.
ОтветитьThen you had to have a very high definition video if you have a very sophisticated television
ОтветитьNano QLED is the future
ОтветитьNot sure about the crab analogy, both wanna look like nice displays that show images realistically, that's kinda the whole point of a display? :D
ОтветитьIn the early 2000s as a child i found out about lcds by smashing my eyes so close to the screen i could see the small bars of green, red, and blue
ОтветитьWhat ever happened to the plasma screens?
ОтветитьI have two Qled TVs and I love them, gaming and content looks awesome compared to my old basic LED TV.
ОтветитьEnjoying this on my 60" Panasonic plasma.
ОтветитьIn 1962 my family had a 14 inch black and White TV with 405 lines.
I now have a 55inch UHD set.
No contest
even 10 years ago i though the led screens looked better than anything else. i'll be getting one when my plasma dies, or i just get tired of looking at the visible pixels and i have money to burn. i'm not worried about burn in because anyone who knows anything about plasma knows that they're notorious for it and it honestly doesn't bother me that much.
Ответитьif i point my webcam at my crt tv monitor it goes wah wah wah wah wah
ОтветитьAlguien sabe cual hace más daño a la vista??
ОтветитьVery nice overview of the current state of monitor tech! There were several listed here that are new to me. Fascinating stuff.
ОтветитьThwre its no apple OLED screen wtf its samsung sony one
ОтветитьYet they all still have worse response time, motion clarity, and multisync capabilities than CRTs
ОтветитьThe new technologies will be based on plasmonics, waveguides and structural color. Some of this we can observe in nature, but the field is new and very exciting.
ОтветитьThe over-saturated colors and hard contrast cult.
Ответитьlets just go back to CRT
ОтветитьYou use evolution when you mean innovation.
ОтветитьSo, in simple terms, what's the actual longevity of OLED at max brightness ? Is it 5 years, 10 years, 20 years ?
ОтветитьWExcellent Resource for Display Emulation with After Effects!
ОтветитьI still cant work out how it's possible to get my entire cd collection onto a sd card the size of my finger nail, I had one under the microscope and the chip is actually smaller than the plastic connected by wires!
ОтветитьHonestly the covergent evolution crab analogy was genius. Taught me something new even outside the main topic. Brilliant video thank you so much!
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьDisplays are at their zenith, I would prefer they concentrate and pool their resources in the battery
ОтветитьThis was the most thorough video on display tech i've ever seen!
Ответитьplasma FTW
ОтветитьSeems a Race to 1000ppi
ОтветитьAll i want from a screen, is a feature that will mimic the scanline display, loading style and speed, of a CRT, so that i can play Duck Hunt. I feel like a TV could do that.
Ответитьa problem with qd oled is a lack of a polarizer. now, it's probably because the oled pixels themselves are blue, but they dont put one in their woled s89c either. gives a pink tint to the tv, and as an s95b owner, it is REALLY frustrating
Ответитьcan someone pls explain why samsung cant put a gosh darn polarizer on their oleds?
Ответить
