Epson inkjet printer rejecting printer cartridges? Try this!

Tried it didnt work. Brand new epsom xp2150. Two new sets of cartridges, both worked a bit. Started with refillables, printed 40 pages perfect, then, printer doesnt see cartridges, annoying stupidly designed thing. Tried new cardtridges, factory in the box with the printer cartridges,. No joy.

I know you posted this video 12 years ago but I want to let you know from 12 years in the future you’ve saved my LIFE and my Epson printer which was about to be thrown out the window because it would not accept my ink🤣🙈 THANK you

Hey, massive thanks for this video. It did indeed get us back up and running. Only turned the printer off for about 30 seconds (didn't need cup of tea) but worked regardless. Thanks again for taking time to make this video.

Gah! Please. Steps. When do you turn printer off. And when on? You talk over the spots where you’re touching the controls so it’s impossible to tell what you’re doing.

I put new ink cartridges in and It looks like my cartridges are empty, because it doesn't show up on the paper...Almost completely blank! Any ideas? Thanks

Third party cartridges aren't working simply because the printer company (an oriental company) has told its machines not to recognise them. The block comes down the line straight into your machine via Internet (what a useful device) It didn't before, yet they still made billions, but why now. They are following Adobe's lead with Photoshop, killing off the inspiration of those who cannot afford their costly software and by milking those who can't afford their $10,000 a gallon ink supplies. Suddenly this year these vast wealthy companies are sending those who can't afford their exorbitant prices, to the wall. Its a block to those on a budget, many inspired writers and artists who just can't afford their exorbitant prices. Its the death of inspiration!

Hi this worked for me - in showing me i had a faulty ((I had replaced 2, and black had been accepted and blue had not). I followed the steps, and then tried another new cartridge for blue - it worked! thank you

I did this with a cheap compatible cartridge and it works, however now everything I print is in Chinese

I'm literally sitting at a store waiting them to finish thd product I paid for, but they can't because the generic printers will not work. They need to make this criminal and require the companies that take action to prevent generic cartridges to work refund the FULL cost of the printer and any generic cartridges purchased.

Absolutely love this printer it was so easy to hook up and learn how to use all with the Hp smart app. It comes pre installed with ink and it gives you the option to have ink unlimited! Definitely worth the money.

I just want to say. I found your video today and after nearly throwing the printer across the room 😂 i followed your insteuctions. I gad purchased a double pack of off market inks and had replaced them but cyan was giving me trouble. I folliwed instructions and removed only cyan but replaced with another new cyan, i had already put one new cyan in. Lights went out but it still wouldnt print. A nozzle clean and voila! We are back in business. Thank you so much. xx

Didn't work for me. 😞 I had a low cyan cartridge (a compatable one) and I bought new Epson cartridges. Tried multiple times, it won't recognise the legit Epson Cartridge. any advice anyone?
