Graduation season is upon us, bringing Scholarship Application time for Scouts pursuing a higher education. See the description of opportunities at the link below to see if you qualify. Just a reminder that the Durham Scout Center and the Sioux City Office will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th. Have a safe and fun unofficial kickoff to Summer!

EVENTS
We have Cub Scouts day camps coming up in Council Bluffs, Clare, Carroll, and Hinton Iowa as well as Papillion, Nebraska. Each camp is a little different, but they will all be FUN! Check out the events on our MAC calendar. Many thanks to the volunteers for making these events happen for their local youth! (Chris smiles)

There is still time to register Scouts BSA youth for the National Youth Leadership Training taking place at Camp Cedars June 2nd - 7th. This is the premier youth training in the BSA. See the description below for more details. https://scoutingevent.com/326-74621.

FACEBOOK SHOUTOUTS
Shoutout to Troop 380 for tagging us in their photos of canoe training. The Scouts received experience with canoes and kayaks and learned what to do if they ended up in the lake. The Scouts also made friends with Troop 463 from Papillion and shared their lake experience.

Shoutout to Troop 149 (Bloomfield/Wausa) for tagging us in their photos of their conservation project in Macy, Nebraska. The small, but mighty, troop of 4 Scouts and others helped plant hundreds of shrubs and bushes to help in their food sovereignty program. Great job!

Shoutout to Troop 492G for tagging us in their photos of their campout this weekend. The troop went fishing and served Cub Scouts Pack 492 during their fishing derby and meals on Saturday.
