That was so amazing. Did you have to spray with alchohol the top before you put the orange and poppy on? Or did it just stick to the loaf on it's own from being in the fridge 30 minutes and having a pudding consistancy?

For everyone asking, use a soap calculator to determine the amount of the ingredients that are required for your soap mold(s).
The recipe is not one size fits all and a little research will get you exactly the amount you need.

What is the PH? Were you able to lower it to around 5?

Please what is the best coconut oil to buy?

How is it natural when you are using a chemical?

I'm sorry, but I worked in the plastics industry for 25 years, and I don't understand what the point of making natural soap, if your pulling the impurities from the plastic containers?

Do you only use coconut and sunflower oil in this recipe?

just a safety tip on sodium hydroxide, Please make sure you are adding the lye crystals to water while stirring, NEVER add water to dry lye crystals, this can cause an extreme exothermic reaction and explode out of the container into your face.

I’ve been making soap awhile so am confident with the process. I’ve not tried setting in fridge before will try this. Great video. Like your process though I’ve always seen the lye mix go into the oil not other way round. But it obviously works fine. 😃
