Great idea, just keep in mind depending on what platform you're using for printing demand there are minimum and maximum pixels that you can upload. Also max file sizes. Yes you want to have high resolution via higher number of pixels, the amount of pixels she increased the image by on canva before downloading it was absurd! With that size of pixels I guarantee you a 💯 you will run into some issues when it comes time to upload the image

It is not a bad model, but you are missing the most important factor in your video that is kind of important. Etsy funds and sales money does NOT go to Printify by itself, these videos about linking Etsy and Printify always miss this fact, YOU as the seller have to upfront that cost for them to ship the products out. Etsy's payments are delayed, especially with a new shop, you WILL need a credit card to do this and be willing to put all the Printify orders on it until Etsy pays you. Let's say you get lucky on the first day, for example and sell 50 t-shirts, you are paying Printify for 50 t-shirts out of your own pocket to ship them before you get any money from Etsy. Also, returns with this model are an absolute pain in the butt, If the customer wants to return the product. You will need to provide them with your address to return the item to you, not to Printify. You will then need to refund the buyer. If the return is because the item is faulty, you will then have to take it up with Printify to get your money back, and you will be taking a loss. Not saying this isn't a good model to base a business on, it is just that major blocks people will run into need to be at least mentioned.

Something that keeps me from starting on things like this is the fact that i live in Europe. There must nevertheless be a bigger audience in USA as an example. I am already doing affiliate marketing in Denmark and boy is that a hard audience to sell things to. Not a lot of conversions and based on organic traffic for a country with a population of about 6 million, it gets real hard, real quick.
So i guess i am going to look for ways to get audience for a specific country. In this case e.g., USA.
What are your thoughts on this?

in your experience, how critical is it to regularly churn out new listings. i've watched some videos suggesting 2-3 new listings a day which seems crazy to me, especially if they're not producing and it comes at the expense of quality. vs focusing on fewer "better" items optimized for higher conversion. does Etsy place value in frequent, regular listing additions even if they're not converting?

I have one Etsy store I run a 3d printing business. It does ok not super great. But if I was to start a print on demand shop. Is it better to stick with just one item or do different items? Like stick with t-shirts or also do coffee cups or shoes etc.

is it really possible to sell anything original POD on Etsy? as soon as it starts selling through, wouldn't it just get stolen? with no meaningful recourse as a copyright owner through Etsy.

True the larger stores with more of a track record will sell more of an image than a small copy cat store. But if you are not a large store and you come out with an original design, those same larger stores will copy your design and make more money than you will 😐
