It's crazy. If the process succeeds, you will get back a duplicate body, but the life experience and relationship that made the original so beloved will no longer exist. It will be a sad and empty experience.

That could just be the same breed of the dog and told it's a clone. And if they dont have the same personality easily explained as well what do you expect it's basically a zombie.

I'm looking at my dog right now, and thinking to myself this is a nope, even if I could afford it. Nobody knows the possible long term health implications of this either. What about the welfare of the surrogate mothers?. I never saw any of them in this video and I would never purchase a puppy or any baby animal without seeing them with their mother, surrogate or not. Just think how many rescue dogs and dog charities £50k would help?. If you've got this kind of money, I'd consider making a donation to the RSPCA or Dogs Trust instead.

If this has been done then regardless of what laws are in place some rich narcissist is going to get himself cloned before too long.

Instead of spending that much money on a clone, just go to the dog shelter, lots of lovely dogs there that really need a new home.

Clone your dog the one that terrified neighbours bit post man ripped up your couch shite over the carpets but you loved it and had it cloned again for round 2 don't get it people got to much money

If you have this much money to spare, please donate it to an animal shelter or homeless charity instead 💚

If you clone anything (Hypothetically yourself), you will still be dead, the new body that is born will be the exact same as the one you had at birth...but over time your life exp. will have subtle and dramatic changes on your personality and life in general. But don't forget, it is just a copy, not you, you will be dead.

Cloning your pet is so egotistical, and selfish, in my opinion. Can't believe this is an actual business. Besides, your pet's lived experience cannot be replicated, the clone's personality will most likely turn out completely different from what you knew/loved.

Yes. The best way to remember your beloved pet is to adopt, not shop, one from an animal shelter and love them as much as, if not more, than the pet you lost.

A clone of your pet is not your pet that has sadly passed on. What made your pet him her unique was in their head and the experiences you had together. Don't ever do this you will be sadly disappointed. Just remember the good times you had together.

Not only is this cruel because clones can have genetic abnormalities, but you can never replace the original pet's soul. It may be genetically similar but won't have the same past experiences, personality etc. it's not the same creature. There are plenty of innocent pets that need homes, this is the best way to move on following the loss of a pet. Unfortunately, the soul is not replaceable.

Sorry but… isn’t this just called ‘replacing’? I find this absolutely disgusting and disrespectful in so many levels! Animals who have passed are not just something you can experiment on! They hold memories in our hearts that will be cherished forever; which what makes them unique. It’s part of life , I would love to see my Dog and cat again! But This idea of essentially bringing animals back from the dead in a different body is madness! Part of our life is to grow and move on! You crying over your animal and then wanted them cloned the next the tears are worth absolutely nothing at that point! There are dogs out there who need a new home . Instead of cloning . Help . That. If you can clone a dog or a cat...it's inevitable that you'll end up with a human. A Rh positive one more than likely. At least science hasn't got Rh neg cloning fixed...yet...we're still unique in that respect.
