I have grown up with this song, brings tears in my eyes thinking about our current situation. This song should be played on speaker in every street of Manipur to remind everyone again.
Our children from all communities are suffering, people who can’t afford to study outside Manipur what about their upbringing and education, old folks who needs constant medical attention.
Let’s bring development together, let’s pay attention to childhood disorders, set up excellent education systems and institutions , job opportunities, improve public transport, our economy and ecosystem, support LGBTQ community.

Somehow I had to revisit this song and listen to it closely all over again! I can't stop crying and I feel like I'm unconsolable today. Manipur Ema, once a upon a time we were Iiving happily together on your lap by sharing the same love and respect for each other irreapespective of the differences in terms of the language and religion! We were strong together and we were one. But today, Ema Manipur we are broken into pieces and it looks like it can never be repaired.
