Baldur's Gate 3 - Let's Play Part 24: House of Grief & Hope

Love Sahdowhearts storyline. I romanced her in my first playthrough with my little halfling bard lady and she decided on her own, that she wants Nightsong to live. And I love Jaheira so much, she is one of my favourite characters. Surprisingly enough, I do like MInsc here too, I never liked him much in teh first two games. I love how he tells Nine Fingers, he will help her set her ways straight and her amicable resignation at that :)I love the references to Khalid - I really liked him in BG1 and was sad, that he died in BG2 (and offscreen at that)

I felt bad because my oathbreaker palalock just used a free crit after we killed the pillars, dropped 3 huge smites with 2 crits and dealth 300 dmg to raphael with just his turn lol, made the fight feel a little....uneventful

Should've used the horn the trolls gave you.

The most epic battle music I have ever heard lol

Had you not used those inspiration rolls with Shadowheart, you would have had a COMPLETELY different outcome haha .. Nice roll my man haha

Why in my game (evil tactician difficulty) in house of grief when fighting Viconia every enemy has radiant rebouke witch deals double radiant damage to my paladin? I deal 50 damage and i get back 100 damage.... It is almost impossible ti defeat Vicona and her foes...

Wolf - big question? In my playthrough, Shadowheart killed The nightsong (and the entire game was changed) Because of this, I thought that Jaheira, dammon, and everyone else in the town died - and yet? I see you have Jaheira and minsc with you? How? I'm searching for an answer to this - if you or anyone else can comment - i'd love to hear because I so want Jaheira to be in my party - minsc too. Ty so much for these videos - as someone new to Baldur's Gate I feel like with every video i've watched of yours, I learn so much. I LOVE that you narrate these SO WELL. You explain things that you are doing as you go - really great videos Wolf!

Why did you upcast magic missile to 5th level instead of just using the skull thing or desintegrate on the pillars? they are guaranteed to hit anyway and you're still using a 5th lvl slot no? 😮

[SPOILER WARNING] In my first completed playthrough I had shadowheart save the Nightsong instead of the other options, it ended up causing her parents to pass on in Act III, but they were with Seluna. It was the best option at the time. Its wild to see how different everyone's playthroughs are.

Ah wow, so much in this episode, but Jaheira's home and family were just wonderful

Mans is in an area with some of the best loot and decides I'm not going to loot anything......I..I just don't get the choices this guy makes. I can't.

In this episode the thought of yr character not being able to loot as much anymore is like a child growing up, but in a lame way cause their fuckin dead, they fought u, u won, winner gets the spoils? Apparently not, should be changed in my op

My play through I didn’t check opponents stats so my 3rd level smite to viconia was very shocking as I died lol

The myrmidon wild shapes are so much bette than owlbear

Belm and staff of the ram are from BG2

My man, all this time in BG i been setting up camp in the sewers and abandoned docks and such, like a pauper, instead of at Elfsong.

Argh no looks like you missed the legendary bow on the boss corpse - after all that work

The raphael fight music is simply amazing.

I want to see a run with only withers recruits where all companions are killed or ignored. story would have to try cramming them back in somehow

amazed it let's u shove bosses off ledges in this game, I assumed when the devil went to the balcony he had made a fatal mistake. wouldn't be the first enemy with wings u outsmarted with a little push

the illithid telling you that going into the hells to rob an arch devil is suicide is best advice ever lol. who would do that it's nuts

curious how many chattering npc in city u can talk to. the writing in this game is amazing and matches salvatores drizzt books

this was great, also shows us half dozen alternate ways for every move, like maybe not trying to sneak thru the steel watch factory and they throwing all we have at a robot that says its invincible. bravo for getting out of that sticky pickle

Wait Raphael has a devil form?? I took about twice as long in that fight as you (no animal form to sustain) and I never saw that. His true form is so well done.

The OST Raphael's Last Act has no right to go so HARD

Shadow's story made me cry. What a great game.

raphael's fight music is incredible. I just casted the irresistible dance spell on the poor devil and didnt even see his transformation.

I got pretty lucky with Raphael, used hold monster and it lasted the entire fight which wasn't long with guaranteed crits.

If I had a basement like Jaheira, I would never leave.
