It was hard for me not to feel how hugh felt when he got his hand destroyed by Calvin
Ответить“Nothing stressful”?!?! Dude this movie gets INTENSE!!
Ответитьlol all the humans are so stupid in this movie. multiple instances of "oh this thing looks horrible, let's open the one door that's restraining it and/or go in there with it!" like I understand the fishermen at the end wanting to help Jake Gyllenhaal, but god damn astronauts are supposed to be smart.
Ответить😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤🎉😅😅😅
ОтветитьIf you watch Cloverfield after watching this the continuation feels so satisfying 😑
ОтветитьI love how she was pretending to flick Calvin 😂😂 Same!! Oh hell no! I’m pro-human, and anti-alien for LIFE!
ОтветитьWell "no one can hear you scream in space" is because there is no air in space. Sound is a mechanical wave who need a substance like air, water or gases to travel.
ОтветитьNote that the creature was initially not hostile until attacked. It perceived the shocker as a weapon, and the rat tried to bite it first. This is a prime example of "Humans Ruin Everything". Had they gone about it more peacefully, you might've wound up with a movie more like ET. But, in its early stages, it identified us as a threat, so became hostile and aggressive to survive. When meeting a creature that displays signs of intelligence, don't do stuff that would cause it pain, if it's not actually acting as a threat.
ОтветитьI remember watching this film on a whim when it came out and I only remember bits and pieces of it
ОтветитьOK who’s like you’re an alien again movie
Ответитьthat guy hate that woman....and i understand him
ОтветитьOsmosis is...something entirely different.
Ответитьidk why but i love endings like these.
ОтветитьAs always Mr Reynolds making those jokes about Hugh Jackman 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe behavior of the so-called scientist does not stand up to any logic. How did he get into the NASA squad? By the color of the skin, apparently, there are not many brains there
ОтветитьPer your request for depressing, there's only one movie to suggest. The beautifully shot, exquisitely acted Melancholia from 2011. Drama/sci-fi written and directed by Lars von Trier. Kirsten Dunst won best actress at Canes for her performance which was justly deserved. A real chance to ask "What would I do in this situation" that doesn't involve outer space or aliens. Well worth a watch for the beauty of the photography and brilliant acting if nothing else. Also stars Keifer Sutherland, Charlotte Gainsbourg, John Hurt, Alexander and Stellan Skarsgard.
Ответитьhelluva movie.
ОтветитьI see this movie, aka Life, as a sort of sequel to Cloverfield. Love your reactions.
ОтветитьI would NOT want to be married to that woman. She must be a literal bore to take to the cinema. Yapping on every second.
Ответитьi was so glad when reynolds died early in the movie. hes the same character in every movie.... himself. i think the only movie he isnt the same type of character was the amityville horror remake. also... no sequel needed. not all movies need to end happy.
ОтветитьWhich is more depressing, the ending of Life (2017) or The Mist (2007)?

Mrs., do you have Raynaud's? I noticed your hands looked quite purple and you mentioned your feet being very cold. Magnesium may help open up the blood vessels and resolve that.
ОтветитьI wouldn't open a space capsule with weird looking stuff in it.
Ответитьimo, it's very dumb for them to think "use electricity on it" when they don't know if being dormant is part of its lifecycle! I'm not even a biologist or animal biologist, whatever they're called, that's just apparently not so common sense.
ОтветитьMrs., I'd say your survival instinct or sense *of self-preservation is strong, and that's a good thing. Too many characters in movies and shows have a weak one. I'm curious too, but certain things....nope!
Ответитьthis movie is stupid overrated
ОтветитьLife aka the blob in space
ОтветитьThe alien was just trying to survive. He probably felt like a prisoner and that they were only experimenting with it. And it didn't want to be just a lab rat. Hehehe
Ответитьmovie about idiots. in space. great.
ОтветитьThe movie shows you don't have to be smart to be an astronaut. Everyone is an idiot.
ОтветитьFunny that you mention Godzilla since the weapon they developed to take out Godzilla was an anti-oxygen bomb, which might actually work on Calvin.
ОтветитьSuch and underrated movie. Thanks for reacting. I also peeked at SpaceIce; looks like there could be some funny stuff in there. Subscribed.
ОтветитьHow many dumb ass decisions can they put in one movie.
Ответитьyou should watch sputnik the alien looks somewhat similar :) i think its great
ОтветитьI liked Rebecca Ferguson in this. Don't forget to watch Life (1999) with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence lol. Opus did a song called "Life Is Life." If you haven't seen Apollo 18, I recommend it.
ОтветитьI read a comment on something else.. saying itsokay it landed somewhere in asia they will just cook up that so humanity is all good
ОтветитьI watched this again last night. Good film.
ОтветитьI loved your freaked out reactions much more than the movie itself :) Personally I was took out of it by how ubelievably OP Calvin was. I mean, a space jellyfish the size of a hand that is able to break bones, survive flamethrower fire and outer space, that grows ridiculously fast and despite being a clump of single-cell organisms is actually intellingent? Give me a break. It's not sci-fi, it's pure fantasy/BS. If Calvin's abilities were toned down and the cast had any fighting chance against it I would definately enjoy the movie better.
ОтветитьCalvin gave me nightmares for weeks
ОтветитьRebecca Ferguson is such amazing actress! She's amazing in Mission Impossible and Doctor Sleep.
ОтветитьCan,t wait then elon musk mission to mars gonna come with somethink like this...
ОтветитьPlease react to Hannibal Rising!!!
ОтветитьMaybe, like Triffids, it dies when in contact with salt water. :)
ОтветитьThis is the most I've ever heard the Mrs. curse. I was hilarious.
Ответить"they're all going to die"....
... earth, once a planet teeming with life... RIP ALL LIFE... not just the human astronauts, not just the humans on earth, but all life on earth... RIP... this is what happens when earth meets alien, there's no "peace and relations"
amazing how many people don't understand what life truly is... to find a lifeform that has conquered not just one planet, but multiple planets, and outerspace, to think that mere lifeforms that dominate life on earth with their technology, could handle such a superior lifeform that has conquered planet after planet after planet and space
when have humans ever looked at cows and pigs and etc, as nothing but animals to be slaughtered and eaten? why would it be any different for an alien lifeform, why would it be any different for calvin? humans and all of life on earth are inferior animals, to be slaughtered and eatened
Not exactly E.T. There must be an alien invader movie somewhere between Calvin/xenomorph and ET.
ОтветитьEver watch 'Buried' or 'Frailty'?
ОтветитьOne major flaw in the movie: how can a living organism can supposedly survive in space like it was outside the space station and was like swimming in zero gravity. I think those people who know little or more about space or science would not enjoy this movie coz it has so many flaws.
ОтветитьOne theory is space is like a dark forest and maybe we don’t see the aliens because of that, for the trees, but maybe instead of shouting out to try find other denizens, we should stay really quiet in our little spot, because there may very well be predators and we’re just meat to them. So we might not have found anyone else yet because other civilisations have either already been eaten or their smart enough to stay hiding because they know about (or are being careful because of the possibility of) the predators.
