Is this better then the LG c3? As monitor if same price??
Ответитьdo you still like this monitor for gaming AND productivity/work??
ОтветитьUltragear48. Appreciate the review, makes deciding on a monitor helpful.
ОтветитьI've been really enjoying this monitor but the choice to not include any ability for the hexagon backlight to be dynamic with what's onscreen seems like a massive oversight and wasted potential.
ОтветитьJust go get a lgc2
ОтветитьThe price of this is a little high. I still use my LG CX 48” as my main monitor. It’s not too big if you wall mount it and have it at a farther distance back or just have a really deep desk that can support the weight at the very edge.
ОтветитьUltraGear 48 Great review!!! Thanks!
ОтветитьThe.1ms response is not "faster than any other OLED" THE LG C series is also .1ms
ОтветитьI have issues using this on my series x. When I turn on hdr everything looks grey and washed. The blacks are gone too 😅
ОтветитьI just bought one, and it comes on Monday. I can't wait to run it with a 7900xtx and a 78003dx 32GB ddr5 6000mhz Team Red Build. I just can't justify Nvidia's pricing. I will never buy NVIDIA again. Their pricing is shocking.
ОтветитьI have an ASUs 31 inch curved monitor
ОтветитьPicked up this monitor on a Black Friday deal. My plan was for this to replace my 34" LG ultrawide for work and gaming. Ultimately I just could not get used to this monitor for productivity, it was simply too tall and due to the monitor having no adjustments, I could not get set up ergonomically, so I experienced neck strain, and the concerns with burn in altered my work flow layout in order to avoid it. I love this monitor so much for gaming however that instead of returning it, I set up a separate desk for this monitor and am now running dedicated work and gaming setups. Also, the latest firmware for this monitor has completely eliminated the brightness issues, I found it behaved no different than any other monitor, even while using it for productivity. The combination of the updated firmware and easily being able to find it under $700 right now makes it an incredible bargain.
ОтветитьJust bought this for $699.
ОтветитьDamn good video. I just got mine on Black Friday. ULTRAGEAR 48
ОтветитьUg48. Good video
ОтветитьFor anyone watching around Black Friday 2023 it’s currently on sale at Best Buy for $699.99 was $1499.99
Ответитьthe reviews mentioned that there is an auto dimming problem. Have you found a fix for it?
Ответитьthis was recently on sale on amazon for $699. i passed b/c it's too big
ОтветитьI have a question: LG TV oled 48 C2 at 800€ or LG monitor 48GQ900 at 1000€ Both absolutely new. Which one i have to buy?
ОтветитьI have a question: LG TV oled 48 C2 at 800€ or LG monitor 48GQ900 at 1000€ Both absolutely new. Which one i have to buy?
ОтветитьQuestion : what cable should I use for this monitor ? the HDMI ? or the other one?
ОтветитьHello, it was very useful, just one question, I have this monitor, I use it on ps5, when hdr is turned on, the image is very dark, what should I do to make it bright and clear?❤️🙏🙏
Ответитьis this better than a 42 or 50 inch LG C2 or C3????
ОтветитьIs it true the hdr performance on this monitor is a bit lacking? I heard the hdr mode crushes dark scenes into pure black and makes the rest of the image too blue. I love hdr gaming, I want to buy one but I'm afraid of a bad hdr output.
Ответитьno dolby vision :(
ОтветитьLooks shit. Tested20 tv,s/monitors last year.. they all have problems.. darker than c1.. pff shit.
ОтветитьNo burn risk if I use it for office work, video editing, 3D modeling and rendering? Occasionally for gaming, but mainly for creative work. What are your tips for avoiding burn ? Thanks.
Ответитьdo you feel very vague but noticeable vertical lines in pure gray gradience image like the windows task bar? I just bought one and found very noticeable vertical lines in pure gray image. i just returned it although i still think it was a fault unit and the normal ones won't find those grids. Please let me know thanks.
ОтветитьIs it possible to wall mount it?
ОтветитьGreat. What "matrix" model does the lg 48gq900 monitor have? Which LG models have the same matrix?
ОтветитьI got my ps5 delivered today so please tell me this screen supports ps5 and how much hz it gives on ps5
ОтветитьI'm having a weird problem where I can hear music and sounds but not voices in games and streaming apps on my PS5 with this monitor. Does anyone know what I have to do to fix it?
ОтветитьI thought the voice was an AI Generated sample of Jordan Peterson's voice at first lmfaoo
Ответитьis there a power on light at the front?
Ответитьexcellent monitor but the lg cx, c1 and c2 beat this monitor and it is because of the hgl technology.
literally hgl is superior to hdr and if you have games that don't support hdr, hgl converts sdr as if it were hdr superior.
example metro exodus supports hdr and it looks good when you play it in hdr but when you change the game to sdr converted to hlg the image quality is beastly, it literally changes a lot and looks much better, it hurts that the monitor is not compatible with hgl.
This is why I don't trust "second-hand" reviews. What do I mean by this? Anything lower than the standard HDTVTest has set.
You're clearly going off a spec sheet for the entire video and I don't detect any display technology experience present either, in the comments too. The language used is extremely vague and even hit or miss (for example, "deeper" blacks? The pixels are turned off, these are the deepest blacks possible on any display, there is no light). No personal tests run either, it's all "I looked at it and it was good, because [spec sheet number the company gives you]". No reference points presented, no solid metric to judge any aspect of a monitor, it's just all "great". No information on phenomena around these displays, just a very shallow understanding of how a screen works, again, just going off a spec sheet.
This isn't a review, it's a sponsored-sounding overview. Whenever the concept of response time came on I rolled my eyes at how a reviewer in 2022-23 still doesn't understand that the milliseconds manufacturers use aren't indicative of absolutely anything and essentially don't matter in the response time you will experience, even when talking about OLEDs.
I am curious how you mounted it to the sim rig as it doesn’t appear to have the vesa mount capability.
ОтветитьThanks I
ОтветитьUltragear 48" gonna buy it for sure man. I love almost everything u mentioned in this review. Except the "dimming issue" that appears on Pc users ...
ОтветитьOn this monitor dark areas look pure black because it has broken HDR implementation. I expect reviewers to have minimum sense for these things to inform users which products not to get. Completely broken HDR in reality and only superlatives in reviews. It is ridiculous!
ОтветитьI have Samsung Odyssey G7 32 inch 240hz for my PC, I am thinking to move to LG UltraGear 48GQ900 but I not sure 100 % if it is right move or not.
ОтветитьUltra gear 48, Great Job!
ОтветитьUltragear 48! and I subbed yo! Great video
ОтветитьHow should I have the settings for my ps5, straight out of the box, this monitor looks crappy, it doesn’t support allm or 1440p with vrr, sound goes out when characters in game are talking to each other, not sure if it needs to be updated or what but for now my Samsung I bought for 300 plays better. Was wondering if you could help me out.
ОтветитьIs this gaming monitor a PC monitor like Viewsonic or is this a TV? Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat is the optimal viewing distance?
