Not just negligence but arrogance. He should be in jail not playing the victim trying to get his licence back.
ОтветитьWhat a joke, a normal person, in a car would have been locked up for years. and it's strange how people with no memory of anything somehow always remember to eject. What sort of sick manic would want to fly again after killing 11 people anyway?
ОтветитьMaddest POV I’ve seen
ОтветитьMy friends son was waiting on his bicycle at the traffic lights. He died immediately as far as I know
ОтветитьThe ONE MAN responsible for these deaths never spent a day INCARNATED???! What a disgrace!
ОтветитьNot guilty? That doesn't seem like closure to me. Say what you want about how litigious Americans are, but cases like this are the reason why.
Ответитьhe whole watchlist thing bugs the hell out of me. If officials are that worried, why not ground the pilot and sort them out before shit goes wrong?
ОтветитьI can't imagine causing this much devastation and ever wanting to get back in the seat, let alone asking.
ОтветитьI was at the air show that day. Was horrible. I used to love air shows. Not to any since
ОтветитьHere i was thinking that thumbnail was click-bait. That was surprising!
ОтветитьI remember this story being everywhere for weeks, especially where I lived (I lived along the coast, a few towns away from Shoreham). It was like a shockwave throughout us, especially when the victims were announced.
I remember seeing photos of that black plume everywhere I went and it was stuck in my head for months after
I went to the Biggin Hill airshow in 2010, which was the last year it was run due to funding and traffic & noise complaints from local residents.
In 2001 there were two fatalities, one was Guy-Bancroft Wilson who crashed in a P63 King Cobra on 2nd June 2001, and was killed - he was a British Airways Captain and also a former Red Arrows team member, footage of the crash itself is available online and has been for many years, much to the dismay of the family members of the deceased.
The other happened the day before, involving a De Havilland Vampire aircraft which crashed the day before, killing two occupants, Jonathan Kerr and Sir Ken Hayr, I've not seen any video footage of this incident.
This guy has a death wish to begin with, and then decides to ditch it on a roadway to take people with him. Did anyone else notice the open fields everywhere? This dude needs to be force fed some Karma in a bad way.
ОтветитьI used to regularly drive that route to visit my Mum 😢
ОтветитьHe shouldn't have done what he did, but it's not unusual to have no recollection of the moments leading up to the crash.
ОтветитьIt takes two to tango. The organizers knew how much fire Hill was under, and they still let him fly. They have just as much blame as he does.
ОтветитьArrogant psychopath.
Ответитьsurviving and being all okay. able to walk, run, talk while others lost their lives is insane. there is no justice
ОтветитьThat same pilot wrecked his truck and killed 6 people.
ОтветитьI wish there was a single player game with the attention to vehicle detail that War Thunder has.
I just can't do the PVP thing anymore.
Here in the States he’d be known as a hotdog, a show off who took way too many risks in the name of, what? Entertainment?
He’s an arrogant sob who didn’t think things through before doing those maneuvers…..
11 lost and walked free.
Well there you have it, taking lives in a vehicle has better chances of walking free than doing it without in the UK.
Air shows belong to 20th century, they are always source of dramatic accidents. It should be banned, all of them.
ОтветитьThe guy is a psychopath. Played with the lives of people for years before finally mass killing and then, after the insane luck he had surviving the crash and walking free by the grace of gullibility of the jury, he has the audacity to ask for his license back.
ОтветитьThat in video ad was brutal, way too long for the length of the video. Unsubscribed
ОтветитьShould be in jail
ОтветитьAnytime someone is in serious truama incident, the brain forgets time leading up to the moment. Had a friend leave the hwy and slam into a tree. He has no recollection of leaving the house or getting into the company work van. Zero drugs or alcohol was involved. 3 weeks in a coma and nearly a year @ the shepards center due to spinal injury.
ОтветитьHe show boats and walks away without long term effects. Innocent people died. Life isn't supposed to be fair but come on! 🤬🤬🤬
ОтветитьAt first I was thinking, sure he lapsed in judgement and started making grave errors, and he could get out of it because of "beyond reasonable doubt" and that would have been the end of it.
Plenty of people have gotten lucky like that and they aren't evil, just ignorant.
But when I heard he asked for his license back... That's when I knew he was in fact evil.
Your advert is in piss poor taste
ОтветитьIt's just insane that this fool was trying to get hid license back after killing and injuring all those people 😒.
ОтветитьThe very fact that he attempted to get his license back tells me he was unqualified to fly again.
ОтветитьHow is it tragic if people willingly do such sht-shows for entertainment and show off?
ОтветитьWhat a nasty looking man.
Ответить"i know i killed 11 people cuz i made a really bad choice, but can i fly again? :P" wtf
ОтветитьShowing off = crashing. This goes for drivers as well.
ОтветитьImagine trying to explain this to an insurance company
ОтветитьWhy didn't he pull into the field and held on to the road.. what a dickhead..
ОтветитьI remember this happening. There was an aftermath video of the road and vehicles that went around too. Completely preventable tragedy.
Ответитьbore off you boring people, they went for excitement. that doesn't come without risk. when you buy a Motorsport ticket of any kind it says it is dangerous. airshows have been dull ever since.
ОтветитьWhat a Dickhead!!
Ответить"That was the idea"
ОтветитьAndy Hill is just the epitome of self serving arrogance. He was found guilty of 11 counts of manslaughter after his amateurish attempts whilst showing off at the Shoreham Air Show in 2015 resulted in his aircraft killing and injuring dozens. The sheer gall of the man to abdicate responsibilty and spend the next ten years in litigation to restore his pilot licences is just stunning. Well done to the CAA in 2025 for flat out refusing to let him fly again. If I could ask Hill one question it would be this; At what point did you decide to eject? It takes 4 seconds for the seat to initiate, that's 4 seconds that you could've been at the controls trying to avoid the people on the ground instead of selfishly bracing your elbows in front of your face with your eyes closed waiting to be propelled to safety.
ОтветитьIt says a lot that he wants to fly again.
ОтветитьPilot is a psychopath
ОтветитьCommon sense isn't all that common
