Christianity should be the default position for agnostics and theists/deists. If the atheists are right, then you still lived a good life serving others. If the Bible is right, you have accepted salvation.

There is no benefit to rejecting Christ unless you wish to sin without care or concern. What is lost, say, by following the twn commandments, which Jesus summarized into two: Love the LORD your God with heart, body, and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself. What is lost by not lying, stealing, committing adultery, etc?

NDE is sometimes demonic Forces at work... The Truth says No Mortal Soul can escape Hell. Plus I don't think Jesus would reveal himself in this way... Plus Bible clearly states we are saved through FAITH in Jesus and NOT of WORKS..... The concept of being worthy of Heaven is FALSE.

At the 23 minute mark of this video, AJ makes the first reference to "McDougal's 21 ounce experiments." Later references seem to indicate that his experiments prove a human soul weighs 21 ounces. I've watched this entire video twice and found no explanation. Was it left on the editing room floor? The McDougal Experiments sound important, and you've peaked my curiosity. Please elaborate. 🙂

If the afterlife is proven to definitely exist, that would result in an exponential increase in suicides. It would be like the rapture, but instead of people suddenly disappearing, it would mean millions of people killing themselves. A good-hearted humanity won't occur. The world would be more dystopian than utopian. I'm not saying that the afterlife should remain a topic exclusive of religion and the paranormal. I'm saying that the truth not always results in positive things.

sorry but we know the brain doesn't die instantly when the heart stops beating it survives for many minutes after and that's why resuscitation is possible so it's plausible the brain of a person in cardiac arrest continues to feel its surroundings and to collect data about what's happening around her. And there are many people who had the same experience and don't remember to have seen anything like that.

Science will never prove the soul and the afterlife. Science proceeds by measuring, observing and deducing about our material world but it cannot say a single thing about the spiritual world,which is immaterial.

If they think that DMT is released at the moment of death and that is what causes the NDE why don't they just do a post mortem after to see if there are traces found in the brain? Great video btw. Really interesting research that I hadn't seen anywhere else.

For anyone interested there's a Netflix show called The OA about NDE's, a group of people are kidnapped and tested on with forced NDE's to find out what happens after you die, it turns out in the show what you see during your NDE isn't what comes next but a glimpse into another universe with choices you didn't take and in the end gaining the ability to travel to those universes, awesome show and I advise people to give it a watch

There is soooooooo many accounts of people dying and having NDEs who meet Jesus it’s impossible to deny. I even know someone who met Jesus and all accounts are similar even tho these people are all over the world and are strangers. Jesus IS real, the Bible is the truth, it will tell what you need to know. Heaven and Hell are real and we will have to answer to Jesus. You are alive because you have a soul that’s your evidence when the soul leaves you die, you can’t function without your inner man that is YOU the soul is YOU not the flesh bag you walk around with. There are also tons of accounts where people go to Hell and guess what they pretty much all describe the same thing. It’s real, get right with Jesus for he is the way the truth and the life.

Also, I thought simulation theory was the dumbest thing I'd ever heard until I watched The Why Files episode on that subject. The split screen experiment still blows me away every time I think of it! SO, how can we resolve that simulation, NDE's and us having souls could all be correct?

Weird that opening monologue wasn’t my experience with being revived in the ICU……I was one of those left in the darkness alone and scared without anyone or anything to hear my pleads. It was only a few seconds before I was brought back by the frantic medical staff but to me it felt longer then my 34 years of life. I believe I was in purgatory, not hell but felt like it to me.
